Elegance Luxury Executive Suites

Just returned from a fantastic week at the Elegance and our experience was 5-star in every respect. Set on a hill amongst the olive groves about a mile from the beach, the hotel enjoys a peaceful location away from crowds. This was what we were looking for and one of the main reasons why we chose to go. The rooms were quiet, extremely spacious and well equipped. Sheets, towels and courtesy toiletries replaced daily so no need to bring your own. The entire hotel kept spotlessly clean by the excellent housekeeping team. A breakfast buffet to die for. Literally hundreds of things to choose from so all nationalities catered for. If you’re staying half board then you’ll be treated to a superb 5 course al la carte menu every night with a decent choice of locally sourced produce. No chips, burgers and pizzas here! Free bottled water throughout the day and evening but obviously your other drinks will be charged to your room. Example prices: 330ml Amstel beer for 4 euros, 50ml Gordon’s gin 7 euros, cocktails 12 euros, wines from 35 euros per bottle. Very much in line with what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Entertainment was low key on a couple of nights per week so a very relaxed vibe. If you’re looking for karaoke, foam parties and shots till you drop, then this place is definitely not for you. If you’re the more discerning type (and probably 30-40+) then look no further. Last but not least are the staff themselves. Exceptional. The wonderful Chrysa manages the team extremely well and frankly never seems to sleep. Always there to ensure that everyone gets their wish and always comes to say hello. She’s a big fan of Fawlty Towers by the way! The restaurant waiting staff are all brilliant. So polite and extremely efficient with dinner service. Last but not least is the star of the show, Stamatis the bar manager. The kindest and most genuine person you could ever meet. His sole aim is to ensure that you are taken care of in every respect. You have a question and he’ll answer it. The man is an absolute diamond and deserves a big pay rise in my view. An absolute asset to an already excellent team. We’ll not forget our pots of Earl Grey tea and biscuits in the afternoon. Just perfect. In sum, therefore, if you want a top quality hotel in a peaceful location with stunning views then Elegance is for you. You will feel like one of the family while you’re there and you’ll feel fully recharged when you get back home to reality. Would we go again? 100% we would. In fact, if they’ve got any vacancies this autumn we might not even wait until 2027.

I had a wonderful weekend in this suit. The view is perfect, I enjoy the room, food, swimming pool here. Service here is excellent, all staffs are enthusiastic, polite and provide satisfied service to me. Especially Ms. Krisa, she helped me a lot.

I really can't find fault with this hotel! We booked a superior suite with private pool but were upgraded on arrival to a luxury suite with private pool and sun deck with stunning views by the lovely Chrysa. What can I say about Chrysa, the most friendly and helpful hotel manager I have ever met! I had emailed to let the hotel know that we would be arriving late at around 10pm and Chrysa was there waiting for us at reception with a warm welcome, we were even offered a meal! All the staff are friendly and always available without being intrusive, we gave our room number on our first trip to the restaurant and we're never asked again, all the staff just knew it. It all just works to make very relaxed break in luxurious surroundings. Breakfast had something for everyone and the half board dinners were delicious with a good choice from a table d'hote menu not a buffet which is unusual these days. I whole heartedly recommend Elegance Luxury Suites to anyone visiting Zante.

The drive to the hotel is approximately 20 mins. The staff on arrival were very friendly and showed us around. This is a fairly small hotel and set away from any main towns or shops . Our room was very spacious and clean and had a wonderful view out to sea and the neighbouring island of kefalonia, with a great sunset view. It is a very intimate hotel with not too many guests and definitely no worrying about getting a sunbed. The staff are very attentive and can not do enough for you. The hotel is extremely well run by Krissa, who is always around if you need anything. She is very friendly and is always chatting to the guests. We booked a day trip around the island with get your guide, however after we booked it we found out that the hotel would also be able to arrange any tours we wanted to do, they would also be able to arrange car hire for you or order any taxis. There is a gym, spa & massage facility at the hotel, we did not use this. If you are looking for nightlife or evening entertainment then this is not the place for you as it is very laid back with just lovely background music playing. If you are looking for total chill out and relaxation then this is definitely the place for you. We had the half board option as we knew there were no restaurants nearby, this was well worth the money( not much extra at all) the evening option was 5 courses each night and was exceptionally good food. However we did feel that the service was very rushed, especially as there was no where else to go. Plates were cleared away before everyone on the table was finished and each course seemed to come out on top of each other, with no breathing space to allow your food to digest. There is a wide variety of options available for breakfast too with cereals, breads, hot food, fruit etc Stamatis was especially good as he made sure he remembered everyone’s names and orders, and a shout out to Raihan as he is the only other person I got the name of, however all the staff are really lovely, work really hard and are very friendly and attentive. There is building work going on next to the hotel at present however this does not affect your stay in any way. We walked to the nearby beach, 20 min walk away, 3 times during our stay and spent the day there at a bar called Makai, where you can hire sunbeds on the beach. Lovely vibe and friendly staff. My only criticisms of the hotel are 1. Please give people a breather between courses for dinner. 2. Please provide bigger towels in the bathroom for us larger ladies 3. Could there be some lighter options available at lunch time as you don’t always want another full meal when there is so much on offer in the evening. I would definitely return to this hotel and fully recommend it to others looking for a complete wind down.
