Bliss Mahé Seychelles

We stayed as a family of 4 in the Apartment. There were three rooms, large and spacious and decor, befitting the ethos of Seychelles. The best part was minimal furniture, inspired by nature. We could see the sea for miles and the beach was right there close. We woke up to the sound of waves lapping the shore. Among the staff members, we had great experience with Manish, Salima, Auroile. Chef Suman took care of our specific dietary requirements and made sure that our little one never went hungry. Food: Not a sumptuous spread but fresh and welcoming. As vegetarians, we did not have those many options, but still enjoyed the simple but well laid out meals. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this to anyone looking to be in the laps of nature.

Great place to stay at , close to the beach and very private. The staff very friendly and helpful. Overall experience was exceptional. Definitely recommending this.

On my 5th stay in the Seychelles I decided to try a small hotel in the northern part of the island of Mahé. Hotel with friendly staff, beautiful garden, nice little beach and good restaurants. Excellent value for money and quite cheap for a 4-star hotel. Comfortable rooms, more too rustic bathhouses. Lots of steps between the social areas and the rooms, problematic for people with mobility issues. J.A.Sousa

The proximity to the water was amazing! Our terrace was situated above the water at high tide and the sound of the waves crashing was soothing. We snorkeled along the rocks/reef along the south end of the cove in front or the hotel. We had half board and the breakfasts and dinners were served buffet-style with lots of options for the theme of the day. The restaurant/kitchen/housekeeping staff were friendly. We had issues with the AC in our room either not working or leaking on us or our bed overnight, so the quality of sleep was not good. Hopefully the issue was addressed before the next guests arrived. The rooms are pretty basic/rustic and the bathrooms aren't exceptionally clean. I think it would be difficult to keep them spotless as they are open air with woven blinds. The front desk staff was okay, but not overly welcoming. And it was strange to have to sign for basic amenities like beach towels, hairdryer, adaptor plug, bottle opener and a little shell on a string to use as a do not disturb sigh. At checkout, these are marked off and questioned if not brought to the desk (our shell was still on the door as our stuff was still in there). Not sure if the property has had issues with things being stolen, but that created a weird vibe.

The stay at Bliss hotel in Seychelles was a true pleasure. We were part of a beginner free diving heterogenic group. This boutique hotel was built with love and compassion. Its rooms are built on the hill and our room 34 was one of the highest at the far edge from the beach overlooking the sea. The style is very natural and comfortable adorned with shells and local wood which is very original. The room was super comfortable and spacious, genuinely accommodating with lovely balcony sitting area and comfortable shower . The pool of the hotel is clear deep and exceptional , nestled in fauna and very relaxing The relaxtion beds above and near the beach are a great idea especially the double bed near the rocks at the beach on a separate porch, this one is so exceptional and is meant for royals or very special occasion . The restaurant (like barefoot)was delicious and accommodating , the staff was friendly, food was rich and interesting. Enabled a taste of the local food and fruits Loved the omelettes, the smile of David the Chef who works hard on the grill with great meats and flavours. The beautiful beach that is at the foot of the hotel enables swimming if there are no waves and also watching the corals or is simply pretty to gaze & relax I was particularly impressed and enjoyed the exceptional friendly and professional attitude of Claudia , the front desk and reservation manager who was also our free diving guide alongside our group guide... What an exceptional combination. Claudia is simply wonderful , very friendly, personal and attentive. Thank you , you made a real difference 🌷 To summarize a truly great experience Thank you!
