We stayed at this property for 2 nights and this instance, I am going to list my summation via pros and cons... let’s start with the pros: The property is quite big, very beautiful, well maintained with 3 different pools, coloured fountains, beach access and has at least a dozen insta worthy spots. Starting with our suite balcony, view of the pool, lush greenery and beyond that the beach, the sea and the sky made for great viewing as well as a number of awesome clicks. Our suite was large with living room space and furniture, a double bed and place for another single bed too, a huge balcony with recliners, a big bathroom with 3 access doors. Very clean, airy and well maintained, the bathroom also had the necessary facilities and accessories. The beds were comfortable and conducive to a good night’s sleep. The Restaurant staff were very helpful, friendly and gracious. We had opted for the half board package so had breakfast and lunch on both days. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options for us and the pastry counters were very tempting and delicious. A special thanks to Greig at the restaurant who consulted us as to our preferences and ensured that our lunches were sublime. Greig is indeed an asset to the resort. Davide, Mikela, John, Lea and Chef Sukhdeep also provided excellent service at the Restaurant. Special thanks to them as well. Now onwards to the Cons part: Even though the rooms were spacious, the luggage space was very limited. We had 3 suitcases between us but no proper space to keep them. The room also lacked a full wardrobe. Ample natural light came during the day but insufficient room light during the evenings. 2 of the 3-bathroom door locks weren't working properly and we had to call the hotel staff to repair them. Now for the issue where we felt let down. The hotel has a 11am checkout time while our flight was late evening, as such, we had to leave at 3pm. We requested the Reception staff for a delayed checkout stating our reasons but they declined stating that the room was needed for the next guest. Instead they offered us use of the travel lounge and seating across the resort. 4 hrs is a long time to hang around aimlessly. Anyway, we decided to check out the lounge before taking a call. The term, "Travel Lounge" is a misnomer. A more apt title would be a small locker room with hard benches and a shower. Surely a hotel of this category can provide better facilities for departing guests. We then requested use of a small room instead for 4 hours, and were given a quote of €150. After a while, when we reached the Reception area, they offered the new room for €100. We accepted it and after making the necessary payment, requested access at 11am, for a seamless transfer when we checked out of our suite. Accordingly, when we reached the reception to get the new rooms keys, we were told about some system issue and left hanging for nearly half an hour after which the reception staff told us that system was not accepting the reduced amount and we would need to pay the balance before room allotment. We were left dismayed by this, since we had already paid what was offered and agreed upon. When we pointed out the same to them, they were apologetic and after more delay, the issue was sorted out by them. Eventually, we were shown into our new room after a delay of an hour. The new room was clearly designed for people with special needs. Surprisingly, the floor was wet and quite slippery. Somehow, we stayed there until our departure. This experience somewhat negated the previous happy time that we had spent in the resort.

My fiancé and I visited yesterday, and from the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. At the front desk, we were warmly greeted and advised to grab a quick bite and drink at the pool bar while waiting for the restaurant to open in about 20 minutes. That turned out to be a fantastic suggestion! We enjoyed an amazing cocktail and mocktail, and the bartender was incredibly friendly. He was interested in where we were from and shared some great recommendations for things to do in Seychelles. As soon as the restaurant opened, we were informed that our table was ready whenever we were. We were seated at a beautiful table, and our waitress, Nitasha, took wonderful care of us throughout the evening. The chicken croquettes were absolutely delicious, and the mixed grill for two was the largest I've ever seen. I've visited 40 countries, and this was truly exceptional value for money! Nitasha also kindly took some stunning photos of us. Are you secretly a photographer? 😊 To finish, we had the coconut crème brûlée, which was absolutely amazing. The next day happened to be my fiancé's birthday, and we knew we had to come back. Unfortunately, we arrived late and the kitchen was about to close at 9 PM. Irine at the front desk went above and beyond by calling the kitchen and making sure my fiancé could still enjoy his birthday dinner. Julia was quick to take our order, although we already knew exactly what we wanted without even looking at the menu again! 😂 The risotto was perfect. My Kiddie Jito mocktail was the bomb, and the Island Mojito with passion fruit was apparently just as spectacular! A funny moment happened when Nitasha came to take our water order. Before she could even bring it, Kunal had already arrived at our table with water for us. We had a good laugh about it. It may seem like a small thing, but it perfectly reflects how attentive and coordinated the team is. Now let's talk desserts. The caramelised banana pudding was absolutely delicious. I rarely order dessert, so when I say this was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time, I mean it. Rich, comforting, perfectly balanced, and something I'd happily order again and again. The evening ended with a wonderful birthday surprise. The staff came out singing Happy Birthday and presented my fiancé with a superb chocolate brownie that wasn't even on the menu. It was beautifully decorated with "Happy Birthday" and two candles. Chef Kierah, thank you so much for creating this perfect birthday dessert. As someone who has baked brownies myself, I could immediately tell this was a good one. The chocolate tasted high quality, the texture was spot on, and most importantly, it wasn't overly sweet. Just perfectly balanced. Seriously, put this brownie on the menu so people fly to Seychelles just to try it! A huge thank you to Irine, Julia, Nitasha, Kunal, Chef Kierah, the bartender, and the entire team for making our visit so special. We came for dinner and left with memories we'll never forget.
