Here’s a polished, balanced TripAdvisor-style review you can use: ⸻ Beautiful Property, Great Amenities… but Food Falls Short We recently stayed at Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts and came away with a genuinely mixed experience. On the positive side, the location and overall setting are exceptional. The views are absolutely stunning, and the property itself is beautifully designed. The Soley pool area and the main house—with its multiple restaurants—are standout features and create a great atmosphere throughout the day and evening. The on-site activities are a real strength. Having snorkeling, kayaking, and other options right there on the property adds a lot of value and makes it easy to enjoy the island without needing to venture far. We stayed in the Ocean House with our own plunge pool, and that massively elevated the experience—highly recommended if you’re considering an upgrade. Service was another mixed bag. The staff were generally friendly, welcoming, and responsive, which made a noticeable difference throughout our stay. A special mention to Samia & Rima for going above and beyond. But a special warning about one of the most obnoxious and annoying waitresses I’ve ever come across. I’ll avoid using her name but you’ll know it’s her immediately with her unfunny inappropriate attempts at humor. She came close to totally ruing our sushi dinner experience. Where the experience fell short was the food. Across the various restaurants, it was consistently underwhelming relative to the quality of the resort. The nigiri at the sushi restaurant was very good, but the rolls were disappointing. Breakfasts were just okay—nothing memorable. The one standout dish during our stay was the tuna burger at the Soley pool, which was excellent. Overall, Mango House delivers on location, design, and experience, but the dining offering doesn’t quite match the rest of the property. With some improvement in the food, this could easily be a top-tier stay. Thankfully you’re got the outstanding pineapple cabana restaurant 2 minute walk from the resort which can make this the complete resort experience. ⸻

Great hotel. The hotel is located in a very quiet and nice area. The food was superb. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We received very good service. Be sure to use the safe in the room. We were robbed of a diamond ring and a diamond necklace that was placed in a pocket with a zipper in the toiletry bag in the bathroom inside the room!

Mango House LXR Seychelles delivered one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had — and we travel a lot as a family. From the moment we arrived, we were met with exceptional warmth and care, and the level of service throughout our stay was simply outstanding. During our visit, one member of our family fell ill, and the staff went above and beyond in every possible way to support us. Their kindness and genuine concern made a difficult situation so much easier. A special thank you to Anna and Michael at breakfast, along with the incredible chef, who took such great care of us. Thomas at the bar kept us entertained and smiling all day long, and Boniface (“Jambo”) is truly one of the kindest souls we’ve ever met. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. The design is top-notch, with beautifully styled rooms, gorgeous pool areas, and an infinity pool overlooking the bay that is simply breathtaking. There’s also a charming small private beach to the side — magical, even if a bit tricky for swimming. We also loved the thoughtful touches like complimentary juices during the day and a lovely happy hour in the afternoons. If we had to mention one small downside, it would be that the dinner options didn’t fully live up to the price level. But honestly, that’s the only minor note in an otherwise flawless stay. This is truly a hidden gem. Don’t miss it — we will definitely be back!

My husband and I had one of the best stays at Mango House. The rooms were beautiful, but the real highlight was the incredible staff. Edwin at the Bar Lounge and Joshua at Moutya were truly outstanding and made our stay extra special. We highly recommend coming to this hotel and experiencing this fantastic resort.
