This is a great hotel! I arrived early, and I was able to check-in with ease. My room was clean, and cozy! The hotel is centrally located, across the street was the stop for the hop on/hop off bus tour, walking distance to most attractions. Lots of shopping close by too! The staff were great and hope to stay again soon!

Fabulous hotel that has been refurbished, updated and under new Management. However what has remained, is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff! We have stayed at this hotel 5 x and will only stay at this hotel when coming to Singapore! We bought our adult children and Grandchildren and each family, to celebrate many birthday ( thankyou for the birthday cake! Delicious!). Checkin was smooth and nothing to much trouble to ask! Premala, a lovely staff member who has been at the Hotel for a number of years, was a friendly face, who also remembered some of our requests from previous visits! What attention to detail, and a great sense of humour to! Thankyou! Jennifer from room reservations was another stand out Staff member, who was patient and helpful with our differing needs and was such a pleasure to deal with! This visit, we stayed in a room facing the Fire station and Fort Canning...a beautiful view and good sized room! The room with 2 x adults and 2 x children fitted the roll away bed in it, with still alot of room to move and play comfortably and the large bath was very much enjoyed by the Grandchildren! We were placed next to their room, which the staff organised, which was so helpful and convenient! The rooms were always clean, restocked and presented beautifully! Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and varied and catered for many cultures and tastes! The concierge gentleman are always attentive and friendly, helping out without hesitation! Thankyou! There are 2 x pools and we enjoyed swimming in both! Always enough towels and we bought our own inflatables, which made it so fun! Bring your own electric pump to blow them up...the hotel does not have one to use. There are Hotel bikes that are free to use, and because the location is so central, there are many areas accessible to ride to, including Clarke Quay, Singapore Lion river areas and a HUGE shopping mall right next door. Convenience stores are right across the road and a small shopping mall is also below the hotel- famous for guitars and sports shoes! Love this hotel....thankyou to all staff..we will be back!

I stayed here in early July 2026. I booked directly through the official website. I only speak Japanese, and I am not physically very strong. The reason I was able to return home safely after my trip was thanks to the wonderful people at this hotel. I would especially like to thank Andy from "Jasper", who has curly hair, and Hui, who wears glasses. Both of them provided exceptional service. Thanks to the plain rice porridge you kindly prepared for me, I was able to do I had hoped to do during my trip. I would also like to thank Merlinda from housekeeping. Although assisting guests like this is probably not part of her regular duties, she patiently and kindly answered all of my questions, even though we had to communicate through a translation app. I'm also grateful that Kalai was the first staff member who welcomed and guided me when I arrived. Here are a few things I didn't fully understand at first because I don't speak English, along with some comments about the facilities. I stayed in a City View room in the North Tower,(without a bathtub and without breakfast). At check-in, They explained the security deposit system to me because I wasn't familiar with it. The hotel is divided into the North Tower and South Tower, each with its own entrance on the ground floor. The two towers are connected through the lobby, but a North Tower room key cannot be used for the South Tower elevators. I was a little confused when I returned from my first outing. The swimming pool(NorthTower side) does not have changing rooms or lockers for valuables. I changed into my swimsuit and bathrobe in my room before going to the pool. The entrance door is opened with your room key, and when leaving the pool area, there is an exit button on the wall to the right. Complimentary towels are provided, and there is a basket nearby for used towels. When I asked at the front desk, I was able to purchase a stamp for my postcard, and they also mailed it for me. The room and bed were more than spacious enough for someone of my size. It was very convenient to have both power outlets and USB ports on both sides of the bed. I had read that Singapore uses Type BF power sockets, but the outlets were not designed to accept only Type BF plugs. On the other hand, although there was plenty of space, I felt some parts of the room were not very practical. For example, the toilet paper holder was awkwardly positioned, and the shower area had a glass wall with a curtain, which felt like an unusual design choice. I only used the handheld shower. The drainage was acceptable—not especially comfortable, but not particularly bad either. As long as I was careful, I was able to keep the toilet area from getting wet. The air conditioning felt quite cold, so I found that setting it to 28°C with the fan on low was comfortable. However, every time I returned to my room after going out, it had reset to 23°C with the fan on high, so I had to change the settings each time. As for the room I stayed in, I could hear voices from the hallway as well as noise from outside the window. However, what mattered most to me was that I was able to spend my stay without feeling much anxiety or discomfort about cleanliness. That gave me great peace of mind. There is also a FairPrice supermarket in the basement level of the nearby Funan Mall, where I could easily buy room-temperature bottled water in different sizes. There are also many restaurants and places to eat in the mall. This hotel was more expensive than what I would normally choose, but it was also a hotel that took wonderful care of me despite my worries, language barrier, and inexperience. I sincerely appreciate all of the staff for their kindness and support.
