Bluesea Brisa Roquetas (ex. Moon Dreams Roquetas)

Our room smelt badly of damp as the bathroom extractor did not work. We were upgraded to a family room. Hotel was clean but a little tired. Pool was a little run down. Breakfast was normal fayre. Good value for money as breakfast included.

Hotel definitely not a 4 star ! Who grades these hotels. !! Amenities basic - outside pool area nice and quiet and clean. No tea and coffee making facilities in room - very disappointing. Our stay did not include food although you could pay as you go. 12 euros each for buffet breakfast - quite expensive. We found a traditional cafe a few minutes walk away which we would walk to every morning for our coffee and tostadas “Cafetería Luna” . Definitely worth a visit. Lovely family run cafe. Strange decor in hotel - very tired looking and requires refurbishment. The staff friendly. Lack of atmosphere. We stayed on the third floor overlooking the beautiful villas and we could see the sea in the distance. Definitely opt for a room with the villa / sea in the distance view as there are building works the other side (building apartments). It was not noisy though. 10/15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. We did enjoy our holiday and the hotel was rather quaint but we did enjoy our stay overall. If you want quiet and one small pool and a bar that opens at 11.00 am until 11.00 pm and no tea and coffee facilities in your room then this is the hotel for youx. Roquetas de Mar is not too touristy and we definitely would return to the area but stay in a different hotel.

Never again .you had to get up at the crack of dawn to get a sun bed.if you couldn't manage to get one you had to go on the grass which then meant that you got bitten by flies.food was just okay.staff really were lovely though.couldnt do enough for you.italian restaurant they rush you.asked if we could have a 20 mins break between first course and second but the minute i put my cutlery down they bought out the main.entertainment was more geared up for children.childrens games/disco went on until 9.30pm.I would only give the hotel maximun 3 stars.back to Turkey next year for me.
