What a wonderful stay! A special thank you to the reception team for arranging such a lovely fruit bowl and birthday card for me on the morning of the 15th of June , it was a beautiful surprise that made my birthday truly special. The lady at reception on the 15th of June, must have arranged it for me. Thank you! I’d also like to give a special mention to a few team members who really stood out. There was a gentleman with a beard on the reception team who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay , unfortunately I didn’t catch his name, but his warmth made a real difference to us. Also Michael, the Scottish concierge in the lobby, was also fantastic , always helpful and went above and beyond for us. It’s the personal touches and genuine hospitality that elevate a stay, and this team delivered that in spades. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service paired with real care for their guests. The team the room cleanliness are all five star. Everything was fine. Didn’t leave 5 star for one annoying thing. Every time you go to the lift to go up, you have to get the card out!! Never had this before so I found annoying considering there is always someone/guard at the entrance. 7-8 minutes walk to the promenade and same time more or less to the Rambla and about 30 minutes from the bus stop to the hotel ( all walking )

We stayed for 2 nights. Our room was at the front, we didn’t get a wink of sleep. The room was very hot and the noise outside was ridiculous

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean from the moment we arrived, which immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, always happy to help with anything we needed. It really added a personal touch to the stay. Breakfast was lovely every morning with a great variety of fresh options to choose from. It was the perfect way to start the day. The beds were also extremely comfortable, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep after a busy day. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and we would happily stay here again.

I’ve just returned from a trip to Barcelona, and I can honestly say I found a true home away from home at INNSiDE by Meliá Barcelona Apolo. After spending a little over a week there, the experience truly exceeded all expectations. Starting with the location—it couldn’t be more convenient. The hotel is perfectly situated near all the lively spots that mattered to us, with easy access to buses, taxis, and a metro station literally right outside the door. As for the stay itself, the rooms are beautifully designed—clean, modern, and pleasantly minimal. What stood out were the thoughtful little details throughout the space that make you pause and appreciate the care put into creating a comfortable environment. When it comes to dining, we had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, with great attention given to different dietary needs and preferences. Dinner was equally impressive. As a group dining together daily, we were consistently pleased with both the quality and variety of the food served. However, the true highlight of our stay was the people. The staff were, without a doubt, among the friendliest I’ve ever encountered—always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. A very special thank you to the team who welcomed us on our first day. The ladies in charge went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. They handled all our requests with care and showed incredible understanding toward the needs of our large group, especially with children and families. It truly felt like being looked after by family—if not even better. This was my fourth time in Barcelona in two years, and without a doubt, this has been my best stay yet.
