Asia Gardens - A Royal Hideaway Hotel

Byli jsme zde ubytováni od 20. do 23. června a mohu jednoduše říci, že to byl pěkný odpočinkový pobyt. Přijeli jsme pozdě kvůli zpoždění letu z letiště Leeds Bradford a měli jsme zarezervovanou dopravu z hotelu. Když došlo ke zpoždění, byla jsem e-mailem v kontaktu s recepcí a informovala jsem je o našem pozdním příletu. Vždy odpověděli a změnili čas vyzvednutí. Byli jsme uvítáni na letišti, kde jsme nastoupili do Lexusu 450 s hybridním pohonem 4x4. Transport trval zhruba 30 minut a měli jsme velmi přátelského řidiče. Po příjezdu jsme se zapsali a dostali horké ručníky a thajské čaje. Měli jsme vynikající luxusní pokoj s výhledem na moře. Pokoje jsou prostorné, s veškerým moderním pohodlím, velmi pohodlnými postelemi, minibarem, TV a dokovací stanicí pro iPod. Měli jsme jen nocleh a snídani. Snídaně byla vynikající a vhodná pro každého. Spousta opalovacích lehátek a klidná thajská hudba, která hrála v okolí. Zahrady jsou úžasné, v noci zde dělají velký hluk žáby. Nejprve jsme si mysleli, že to je nahrávka na CD. Bary jsou pěkné, ale drahé, 2 Coly za 9 eur. Vše se ale nachází na fantastickém místě, takže je příjemné si to užívat. Určitě se vrátíme, tentokrát na delší dobu. Chtěli bychom poděkovat personálu za dobrou práci.

Beautiful place.From arrival,they park your car untill the entrance with soft Asian music.Reception very friendly.Room spacious,we had a superior deluxe room and received in upgrade to sea view room. Very good bed and nice big bathroom.Turn down service in the evening. We hbooked room with breakfast, was also very good.A lot off choice a very clean arround the plates.For me this is important,no food on the ground or arround the plates. Resto black we eat very good there.Is not cheap ,portions could be a little bigger for the price they rate.Service very friendly but dishes came to fast.We where still enjoying our apero and first course was already their.May something to pay attention to. Service arround the pool very good ,friendly with eye for details. Resto the island also very good.The meat was excellent. One thing that could be improved.I always book directly with the hotel.To book my stay I had to phone because when giving the credit card details it was not working.Today I wanted to make a new Reservation (yes we where so happy with this stay we come back) was not working again.The lady off the reservation department is very friendly and helpful when you phone our email.But it would be a lot easier if you could do it on line. This was a very pleasant stay,we could check out 2 hours later what is a very nice gesture from the hotel. This hotel is an oasis of peace you have the impression to be some where in Thailand Thank you Asia garden you made great memories

We stayed here four nights. The primary issue is they pretend they are a five star hotel. They are not. It's four star. I have noticed this is common in Spain, 4 star hotels are really 3 star hotels, 5 star hotels are 4 star hotels. This certainly isn't in the same class as The Four Seasons, a true 5 star hotel. No comparison, really. The staff is friendly enough, although they were a bit understaffed at reception. The grounds are beautiful, the sense is tranquil calm. You will be relaxed when you leave. The rooms are very large by European standards. The dinner buffet is themed for each night: Italian, Spanish, Middle Eastern, etc. The buffet was of high quality. The service was friendly. We ate at two other restaurants and they were mid tier in taste. Beautifully decorated. The fusion style of cooking doesn't really work. Room service menu was large and 24 hours. The bathrooms were large with a separate tower and tub. The grounds are beautiful and you do feel transported to Thailand. Would I return? Sure, but I would return with the idea that it's a four star hotel and to expect a very nice four star experience. There is a spa, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, multiple swimming pools, a kids club, and plenty to do during the day.

Visually stunning, superb rooms and dining facilities. Somewhat mystified by lack of amenities though. No Hair Salon, no on site shop and no evening entertainment at all. Navigating around the different blocks and many pathways took a little getting used to and the signage was a little vague. Would return but only for a complete disconnect which I guess supports the very Peaceful Zen vibe.

Although this is possibly the most beautiful hotel I have seen with beautiful bedrooms, pools, food & charming staff there is one thing I cannot fathom. Why is there no music in the evening ? Every night I had to leave the hotel after dinner (when I didn't want to leave the hotel) to find some entertainment. I know the ethos is zen but if children screaming can pierce the tranquility then surely a classy singer in a corner of the site would only enhance the stay. Also the hotel shut for a conference while I was there cutting our trip short, very frustrating. That said an almost perfect hotel let down by the dull evenings where only one bar on the massive site opened & no music/ents were an option
