Byli jsme zde ubytováni od 20. do 23. června a mohu jednoduše říci, že to byl pěkný odpočinkový pobyt. Přijeli jsme pozdě kvůli zpoždění letu z letiště Leeds Bradford a měli jsme zarezervovanou dopravu z hotelu. Když došlo ke zpoždění, byla jsem e-mailem v kontaktu s recepcí a informovala jsem je o našem pozdním příletu. Vždy odpověděli a změnili čas vyzvednutí. Byli jsme uvítáni na letišti, kde jsme nastoupili do Lexusu 450 s hybridním pohonem 4x4. Transport trval zhruba 30 minut a měli jsme velmi přátelského řidiče. Po příjezdu jsme se zapsali a dostali horké ručníky a thajské čaje. Měli jsme vynikající luxusní pokoj s výhledem na moře. Pokoje jsou prostorné, s veškerým moderním pohodlím, velmi pohodlnými postelemi, minibarem, TV a dokovací stanicí pro iPod. Měli jsme jen nocleh a snídani. Snídaně byla vynikající a vhodná pro každého. Spousta opalovacích lehátek a klidná thajská hudba, která hrála v okolí. Zahrady jsou úžasné, v noci zde dělají velký hluk žáby. Nejprve jsme si mysleli, že to je nahrávka na CD. Bary jsou pěkné, ale drahé, 2 Coly za 9 eur. Vše se ale nachází na fantastickém místě, takže je příjemné si to užívat. Určitě se vrátíme, tentokrát na delší dobu. Chtěli bychom poděkovat personálu za dobrou práci.

We had an exceptional stay and truly did not want to leave. From the Koh Samui restaurant to the Lombok pool, every part of the hotel felt thoughtfully designed and relaxing. The three heated swimming pools were fantastic, and the complimentary activities, including Tai Chi and cocktail making, added something special to our time there. The spa was a real highlight of our stay. The facial was exceptional, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and revitalised. The treatment room itself was just as impressive, with a stunning view overlooking a peaceful water fountain, which made the whole experience even more calming and immersive. We only stayed a few days but found ourselves completely immersed in the experience, rarely leaving the hotel at all. The peaceful atmosphere stood out, from the gentle sound of frogs in the evening to the beautiful koi carp pools and lush trees surrounding the grounds. We arrived needing a break and left feeling completely refreshed. A genuinely calming and memorable experience.

We had a couples massage booked at Asia Gardens Spa and arrived early, as we were genuinely considering staying at the hotel that evening. As frequent guests of luxury brands such as Four Seasons and Aman, we are very familiar with the level of service and flexibility expected at this standard. Upon politely asking if it would be possible to briefly view the hotel or an available room, we were met by the concierge manager with a notably dismissive and unwelcoming attitude. We were told this was “hotel policy” and that non-guests could not be shown the property. While policies can vary, what was particularly disappointing was the complete lack of hospitality, flexibility, or basic courtesy in how this was communicated. Despite having a confirmed spa reservation, we were also told we could not remain in the lobby and were repeatedly directed away, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. At no point was there any effort to assist, offer alternatives, or handle the situation in a manner consistent with a luxury guest experience. As a result of this interaction, we chose to cancel our treatment and decided not to pursue staying at the hotel. We hope management takes this feedback seriously, as the issue is not the policy itself, but the tone, approach, and lack of guest awareness shown by the concierge manager. This level of service does not reflect the standards expected from a hotel positioning itself in the luxury segment.
