Cap Negret Hotel

I was quite disappointed on the waiting side of things, very difficult to deal with no helpful at all was getting told different things and all wrong, I asked for a class of ice and they wanted to charge me for ice, very over priced for what it was, we had booked a room with sea view when we arrived it was a room looking at a car park, I had to pay a extra 25 euros a day to stay in a sea view room which we had all ready booked, big shame as it is a beautiful place but find the service bad in restaurant and bar, the people on reception where helpful..

I can not understand the negative reviews. I really think some people should stay at home. We have travelled a lot and stayed at many establishments, we found this hotel to be very comfortable, with good service and plenty of choice for breakfast. We were on bed and breakfast basis and found the offering to be plentiful and good. There was a lovely quiet area to sit and read, plenty of sun loungers and plenty of tables and chairs to eat and drink outside. The pool bar was always busy, but we didn't mind waiting as we were on holiday. I must say that the beds were the most comfortable beds I've slept on, I am a poor sleeper bur had no trouble sleeping here. It is a bit of a walk to a supermarket but we didn't mind walking. We walked into Altea most evenings and had some amazing meals in The Old Town. The shuttle bus is really good. Just pop your name down on the list where there are time slots, and the driver will collect you on a return journey. We also ate in the Italian restaurant across the road and had a very good meal there. We caught the tram to Benidorm and also another day we went to Denia. Travelling around Spain is very easy and cheap. The tram stop is a few minutes walk across the road from the hotel and you can buy tickets on the tram. I would recommend eating in The Old Town rather than on the seafront. We would definitely return to this hotel and to Altea.

Perfect hotel, lovely staff, great fun, wonderful food - really couldn't fault it. The shuttle bus into town was a nice touch and the spa experience was great too. Such a lovely team of people work at this hotel - congratulations to the management who have created something really special.

This was our second visit. A wonderful warm friendly atmosphere, from the moment you arrive to your departure . Nothing is to much trouble. Fantastic food, plenty of tasty choices all fresh and hot. Comfortable beds in spacious rooms. Every where is spotlessly clean. The staff work so hard, with a pleasant demeanour and a big smile. The curtesy bus is a big plus always on time and the driver is so polite and helpful. Thank you for another wonderful stay. We will be back 😍

Not much to fault here. Positives-enough pool loungers! Very clean. We had bed and breakfast-great choice and nice. Shuttle service to the old and new town most welcome as I struggle with mobility. Only negative I could really find is when ordered lunch (chicken ceaser salad) it came with awful like popcorn chicken balls. This was sorted out when explained and came back with cooked chicken on instead as requested. Staff friendly and accommodating.
