La Cala Finestrat

This is a lovely hotel thats right on the beach with amazing views. We had a sea view and couldnt be happier. Just couldn't enjoy it at night as the temperature drops. But nothing to do with the hotel. The room was spotless and had everything you need. The location for us as a couple was a little quite but it isnt even season and can see it would be a lot different in the busier periods. We enjoyed a walk into benidorm along the seaf front and the buses are really easy to get and cheap. The only thing that we didn't rate was the breakfast as it was very limited and would prefer to serve ourselves but the lady serving was very cheerful and lovely. Staff over all were friendly and very helpful. And there are some lovely restaurants, cafe, bars and supermarket on the doorstep of the hotel.

We are on out last day of 9 at this wee gem of a hotel. The staff are super friendly and they go out of their way to help you. We asked for an extra pillow and towel and they were delivered the same day. The ladies and Pedro who work at reception are first class and the lady at breakfast is so so lovely, helpful and an all round amazing person, One of the best bits is being able to take your continental breakfast up to your room and have breakfast in your balcony. A great start to the day. The hotel is spotless and for a 3 star on jet2 we were amazed at how good it was. Super warm powerful shower and comfy beds. A must is to visit the restaurant attached to the hotel called Strat. Special deal for hotel guests and worth every penny. The kitchen is ran by a girl who won master chef and the food, the service and its presentation were amazing. We can out to run the Benidorm half/10k. It’s about a 5k walk into the centre of Benidorm from the hotel or you can get the no3 bus which takes you in for 1euro 60 each, one way.

We love Spain and Benidorm has become a little too rowdy in recent years plus we are not getting any younger so we decided to try Cala Finestrat for a change of pace. The hotel is quite small but has the best location in the whole of Spain. You literally step out of the door and onto the gorgeous sandy beach. Fantastic. The hotel itself is absolutely spotless and is beautifully decorated and very well maintained. The rooms are bright and airy. Ours was an upgraded room with a wonderful sea view. The sound of the waves as you fall asleep is worth the upgrade alone. The bathroom is of a modest size but has a great walk in shower cubicle and like the rest of the room, is cleaned every day and towels changed if needed. The beds are very comfortable and so are the pillows. No lumpy, noisy beds and backache from cheap mattress and pillows. We enjoyed very comfortable nights here. There is air conditioning but in November the weather was just perfect and with a steady cooling sea breeze. Breakfast is served in the small cafeteria area and is wonderful. The lady who runs the breakfast operation is an absolute joy in the morning and you will be very well looked after. This is a continental style breakfast with toast, pastries, cereals as well as cold cuts and cheese. All served daily until 11am so enjoy the lay in. All the staff here were lovely and greeted us with a big smile every time we saw them. Highly recommend hotel and we have already booked to return next year while we were still here! ❤️❤️❤️

Just had a fabulous 5 days staying at Hotel LA Calla. Warm and friendly welcome. Staff are all so helpful ☺️. Very kind and thoughtful 😊. It is a beautiful location right on the beach and central to shops and restaurants. Can't wait to return in the spring. The beach is beautiful and safe swimming. Great place to relax and enjoy. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable 💕

We have just returned from La Cala hotel, Finistrat where we spent 4 great days in this lovely small hotel where hospitality was first class! We stayed in Room 101 which had panoramic views of the beach and spent lots of time watching the world go by from the balcony where we could also have our breakfast tray of continental style and it was an idyllic way to start the day. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the room was cleaned every day with fresh linen, our thanks to the cleaning staff who were excellent. Our special thanks to Pedro and Belen, reception staff whose smiling faces greeted us every time we walked past. We will definitely return to this lovely hotel, hopefully next Spring. The only downside stairs to reception with a suitcase for us was difficult, probably because of our age, but fortunately Pedro was at hand to assist.
