La Cala Finestrat

Great location overlooking the beach.The hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful. If you arrive late bring food or drink as there is nothing at the hotel at 2 am etc . Busy during the day but not much open after 10pm apart from a few bars. You can walk to Benidorm it takes about 40 minutes . The buses are regular and the number two gets you to Benidorm town for 2euro s pp. A taxi is about €13 back at night. A few steps up to the hotel may be difficult for some people but once inside lifts are there . We had breakfast which was ok and the view from the dining room was lovely. Overall great hotel but a bit far out of town for us.

You just cant beat this location, set right on the beach front in a lovely family orientated bay. You can walk into Benidorm stopping along the way for refreshments but a walk without stopping would take 40 mins to the old town. In La Cala bay there are plenty of bars and restaurants but never opening late and no disturbance after midnight. The hotel La Cala is a little gem, it is bed and breakfast with stunning views. You can choose your breakfast full English, healthy or continental all are delicious. You can get lunch at the hotel for a set price and is very good. The staff are friendly approachable and so helpful, a shout out to Alessia and Miguel. You can also hire sun lounge chairs and the parasol is free, we found them very comfortable. Cant wait for next year for our annual trip to my favourite place in Spain.

Fabulous hotel, 8 steps from beach, all staff were so lovely and helpful, stayed B&B which was really good and a few options to choose from. Room 301 with a fabulous sea view and balcony, room was lovely and cleaned every day, would definitely return x

Wow is all I can say!! We decided to try this hotel for our 25th wedding anniversary and it didn't dissappoint. We arrived after about a 35 minute journey from Alicante airport. The room was ready within an hour of us arriving. Upon checkin we had to choose a breakfast for the next morning, the choices were healthy/full english or continental, there was also cereal and bread if we wanted that too, if we decided we wanted to change our breakfast choice we just had to whatsapp reception before 3pm which was easy enough. Our room was on the 1st floor same floor as reception and the beautiful Strat Bar which overlooked the bay a beautiful view for breakfast. The room was spotless and smelt so fresh, aircon was amazing kept us so cool during the night it was that good we had to use the blankets provided!! There was a hairdryer in the bathroom handwash and body/hair wash gel in the bathroom, fresh towels every day too!! The room had a TV with a few channels, it also had a fridge and a kettle with cups and glasses. Atmosphere around the hotel was extremely chilled. We had a balcony room which was so good for relaxing and people watching. Our room was a side view which was facing the beautiful bay. Theres a few bars underneath the hotel and although they were busy the noise was minimal. Restaurants around included Chinese ( which wasn't that good) an Italian, a burger/pizza bar, tapas bar and a fish restaurant. We only tried the Chinese so can't comment on the others. There is an outdoor market on Saturday and Tuesday which was good especially the fresh chicken stall which was fab with fresh bread and roasted potatoes for a minimal price!! Theres a supermarket which is open until 1am so handy for bits and bobs!! The hotel do offer a rental service for sun beds and parasols for a fee plus a deposit of 10 euros per item, we had been paying 18 euros per day for a parasol and 2 beds on the beach which soon mounts up. So when we return we will most definately be renting from the hotel!! Theres a roof top terrace which had 3 beds on it and surrounding chairs if you just wanted a bit of quiet time. Theres also a library on the roof top, we didn't borrow any books from there so can't comment on how it worked. The walk into Benidorm old town was approx 3 miles along the beach a very pleasant walk....or take a local bus No2 or No3 from the bus stop minutes away from the hotel. A perfect location for the perfect beach holiday with plenty of relaxation...the hotel left us a bottle of bubbly for our anniversary which was such a nice personal touch.

What a little gem of a hotel this was! Right on the beach and walking distance to all the bars and restaurants. The Hotel La Cala was excellent along with all the staff. Full English breakfast, or healthier options are available, local bus service to nearby Benidorm if you want more lively nights out for around 2 Euros on a regular basis but we just liked the chilled out Finestrat resort tbh. Lucciano Italian restaurant is very good and for two with a bottle of wine came in at around 50€. Would highly recommend a stay at La Cala for all your needs 10/10
