Costa Málaga by Pierre Vacances

A good value hotel with easy links to the airport and Malaga. Right in the heart of Torremolinos with easy access to the train station bars, restaurants and the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good sized pool area with plenty of beds. During the day staff came round with fresh fruit which was a nice touch. On some days there is live music at the pool which was great. Unfortunately we had a bad experience at the pool bar, we ordered food but the order clearly didn’t reach the kitchen as after an hour I had to chase the order. The staff were all very confused and when they realised said the chef was making the food now. We then proceeded to receive the wrong order. The staff did offer us a free drink as an apology however this was still disappointing. Overall this is a good value hotel, I would stay again.

Great for what you pay for it, not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Yes if you look closely, some parts of rooms could do with touching up / renovation but the main communal areas are all brand new and really nice to be in. The bar area is lovely. Pool area was calm, clean and we were always able to get a sun bed. Location good and staff friendly.

Had a great short break here in May, the room was nice and spacious and the staff very friendly. Ideal location right in the heart of Torremolinos within walking distance of bars and restaurants as well as shops and the beach.

This is not a 4* star hotel!! sheets on bed had blood stain asked 3 times for them to be changed 4 days later i got clean sheets, air-con is crap! room is not cleaned to a high standard. Its refurb DOES NOT include the rooms, lifts, corridors, stairs, sun loungers , pool they are grubby, cheap and dated. I booked through jet2 which have this as an adults only four star hotel, not true as this hotel accepts children. I have also emailed jet2 regarding this hotel and its rating. Seeing other hotels in this area that are a true 4 star shows the vast difference , I would love to know who graded this a 4 star hotel and how much they were paid.

This hotel claims to be 4 stars, but in reality, it’s a filthy, chaotic, and poorly managed disaster. I wouldn’t give it a single star if I could. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that cleanliness and basic hospitality are not priorities here. The room was disgusting — the sheets had clearly been reused without washing, and the general state of the room was unhygienic at best. I raised the issue with the reception, and was met with rude, uncaring staff who made no effort to help or even apologize. I asked to be moved to a different room, hoping for at least a clean bed — but the new room was just as bad, and the service remained equally dismissive. If that wasn’t enough, loud music blared throughout the night, and people were banging on my hotel door after midnight. I called reception for help and was casually told to “just ignore it.” Absolutely unbelievable. This hotel was advertised as adults only, which was one of the reasons I booked it. But surprise — there were children running around the place, completely ruining the relaxing atmosphere I expected. When I asked staff about it, I was told they’re “no longer allowed to cater to just adults” — but this was never communicated to me before I traveled. A complete bait-and-switch. When I asked about moving to another hotel, I was told I’d have to cover the cost myself, despite this being nothing like what I paid for or was promised. I will be contacting Jet2 for a full refund and making a formal complaint. This hotel is misleading guests, providing substandard, unsafe conditions, and their staff are rude, unhelpful, and indifferent to your concerns. Do NOT stay here — you’ll regret it.
