Hard Rock Hotel Marbella

Absolutely fantastic. Hotel excellent, staff amazing, breakfast choice superb. Location perfect. Highly recommend for adults. Our 3rd stay since September 2025.

Hard Rock Marbella is such a beautiful hotel - the cleanliness is immaculate and I loved everything about our stay. The rooms are spacious and have a well stocked mini bar (items to purchase of course, but a good option to have in the room). The pool area had such a good vibe, I loved the entertainment and the waiters were attentive. We also ordered food from the pool bar which was super tasty (a great vegan burger too!). The strawberry daiquiris are a must (at the pool and the pool restaurant). There’s actually two pools in the hotel, we always opted for the Eden pool, but the rooftop pool looked more relaxed. The GMT bar in the hotel is great - the cocktails were so good! The hotel reception gave us two free welcome drinks which was amazing and then they informed us that if you have Unity rewards, then you can always get 10% off. We had breakfast included and the buffet option was brilliant - so much variety from continental to a hot buffet. There wasn’t lots of entertainment on at the hotel, which I felt was lacking slightly, however when it was on in the lobby area, it created such a great atmosphere. I’d loved to have seen more! The bar staff were great for putting on football matches, in one of the rooms near the bar, which was great for nights where we were relaxing. The Rock Shop in the hotel was great - plenty of stock. Although it did look like they were relocating it to nearer the entrance, whilst we were staying there. Overall a great stay!

Charged €40 for unused towel cards after a family emergency I had to leave a day early due to a family emergency. On returning to the UK I found I’d been charged €40 for two towel cards that were never used, still sitting untouched in the room when I left. No refund. Disgraceful treatment of a guest in difficult circumstances. Avoid.

Nice hotel, I love the Hard Rock brand, but this hotel doesn't quite match up with some others. Nevertheless, comfortable room (Deluxe room overlooking pool), beds and pillows nice, good shower, and room seemed well soundproofed. Breakfast pretty good with fair choice. Very comfy sunbeds. Only downside staying here for me was the lack of decent bars and restaurants to walk to in the area. Even Puerto Banus was disappointing as bars/restaurants were busy and expensive. One plus though is having a supermarket opposite the hotel and a fairly decent italian restaurant over the road too

Upon check-in, I experienced terrible guest service and was pressured to sign a disclaimer that would prevent me from receiving a refund due to a necessary room downgrade, the suite I booked, for which a significant amount was paid, did not align with the advertised images.Guest services person also tried to get me to sign a disclaimer prohibiting me from posting a negative review. Additionally, a deposit of £250 was required for a five-night stay, for potential mini-bar usage. Despite not utilizing the mini-bar, I was informed at checkout that the deposit would be refunded within 5-7 business days. As of April 23rd, having checked out on April 4th, I have yet to receive this refund, despite making four phone calls and receiving multiple assurances of resolution. Claire
