Hard Rock Hotel Marbella

A nice hotel, located in a good location of which had a great atmosphere in the lobby day or night. Positives: Rooms were pleasant, practical and the hotel had a good level of cleanliness. Plenty of amentities available. Staff were all incredibly welcoming and very child friendly. Lots of fantastic arts pieces around the hotel of which made the place feel unique. The location was very accessible to surrounding areas for exploration and experiences, including the Casino. Lots of musical entertainment almost daily with live performances. Negatives: Unfortunately we learned during our stay, that the A/C was broken in the building. Staff apologised for the inconvenience but as this had occured prior to our stay, I feel we should've been informed earlier, offered an alternative or redress for the matter appropriately. The other negative that in this case was unavoidable, is of construction work in the hotel near the pool area. They were doing renovations and expansions of the basement of which the noise transmitted to the pool area and sometimes the lobby. Wasn't a major disruption but not ideal.

The hotel staff where super friendly and informative. Shout out to Bea who gave us recommendations of places to visit and really a friendly face greeting you for breakfast. The hotel is in a great location for Puerto Banus and the local Saturday market. The facilities at the hotel are superb. We stayed half board and the quality of the food was fantastic. Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Really lovely welcome at breakfast every morning from Bea - superstar. She should be a tour guide as she was happy to share places to go and ideas for the day. Great hotel - just be sure you’re happy with the location - we were Little shop opposite the hotel is super handy and a walk to Puerto Banus is less than 20 mins. Should you come on a Sat there is a market five minute walk from the hotel.

i booked the rockstar suite for my birthday. the concierge helped me carry the drinks and sent glassed up to the suite in preparation for my party. 30 minutes before it started, i received a message that i can’t have more than 3 people in the suite. never has this been mentioned in the days leading to it or even on the day. the suites around and under were of guests that were supposed to be in my suite, as the hotel was sold out for a conference we were all attending. i have had the embarrassing moment of having security scream at my guests, threatening with police, the concierge saying it will be solved but then say he can’t do it. i’ve asked for a refund as i used the room for exactly 2 hours and they refused to. by far the worst experience in any hotel.
