this hotel operates a very dishonest policy on its mini bar in the rooms. upon arrival you'll be told you cant check in without paying 200 euros on a card against the mini bar. there isn't a thing mentioned about this when booking with your tour operator. your told this will be refunded when you leave , its not, i tried to check out sort out any fridge usage in plenty of time only to be told that house keeping inform the hotel of what to charge, so the full 200 euros was charged to all 3 rooms whether this facility was used or not. we have had to call on 3 separate occasions only to be given the wrong email address therefore no response and a gain a final call to try to get our money back. had we not pursued this we would never of been refunded. its also worth noting the cost of he mini bar items.outrageously priced. so a single vodka shot bottle is £25.00 a qtr. bottle of non premium brand champagne is £75. kit Kats, crisps, a small bottle of coke or Fanta, all start at £5 each. my advice tell the reception to empty the fridge so there is no misunderstandings. id bet my house my international tourists are caught out by this and don't call the hotel to reslove it with the international call costs in mind. drinking in the hotels bars is also a costly exercise, eg, 2 halves of larger 17 Euros. it feels like from arrival to departure every attempt to part you with as much cash as possible is employed. another observation by our party of 6, the interesting guests who on 2 separate occasions asked us for money to pay for rooms after there sob stories of being left in the lurch by boyfriends. we were all of the opinion that prostitutes are being allowed to operate in the hotels bars. i used to stay at this hotel when it was the Andalusia Palais, i have to say it was a much nicer hotel decorative and how it operated. mysekf and my party will never return and as a former Marbella resident ill be only to happy to share this unpleasant experience.
Upon check-in, I experienced terrible guest service and was pressured to sign a disclaimer that would prevent me from receiving a refund due to a necessary room downgrade, the suite I booked, for which a significant amount was paid, did not align with the advertised images.Guest services person also tried to get me to sign a disclaimer prohibiting me from posting a negative review. Additionally, a deposit of £250 was required for a five-night stay, for potential mini-bar usage. Despite not utilizing the mini-bar, I was informed at checkout that the deposit would be refunded within 5-7 business days. As of April 23rd, having checked out on April 4th, I have yet to receive this refund, despite making four phone calls and receiving multiple assurances of resolution. Claire
Noisy rooms if u face the highway and from all other rooms and corridor , this is more a 3 star hotel , small rooms , no identity as a W
Really nice hotel walking distance from puerto Banús. Really enjoyed the pool a shame it closed at 1800 evyday but I understand that it was not high season yet and the refreshing temperature was not for everyone 😜. We had breakfast and dinner included and enjoyed the variety and quality. All the staff was amazing! Only thing missing was a jacuzzi in the spa.
Bea Bea is a Rock Star. She made my mums 81st birthday so special with sparkling white wine in our room and taking incredible care of us in the restaurant and the concierge check in lounge. She is an incredible ambassador for Hard Rock and is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Bea!!! Sheree
