Our stay at this hotel was fantastic. This was our first holiday as a married couple and it was out 1st anniversary holiday, we have never been to Marbella so we didn’t know what to expect. Check in was smooth, lovely lady on reception explained everything to us and one of our concerns as I had read about the mini bar charges in the rooms was quickly dismissed - we were given two options - 1 - pay I think it was €125 per night of your stay 2 - pay as you go ( this was that they took 1p from your card and then when you check out you pay for what you have used) No choice really we took the pay as you go. Our room was on the 5th floor over looking the pools - very clean room, fab air conditioning, lovely rainfall shower, bed was queen size and lovely to sleep in. We also had a balcony with two chairs and little table - two sets of French doors lead to the balcony, this was because when the music was playing at the pool area if you shut the doors you heard nothing. Our house keeper was fantastic, she checked in everyday and always gave us clean towels. - we were only there for 7 nights but she would have cleaned the room everyday if we had wanted ❤️ There are two pool areas, one has the main stage where there is a DJ everyday and we will say he played very mixed variety of music which suited everyone, plenty of sun beds and also staff who came round and took food and drink orders which was great as we didn’t have to move if we didn’t want to. All staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Check out was super easy as well, we had early check out 7am and I just gave my room number, I was asked if we had anything from mini bar, we did and the receptionist took payment for the drinks there and then. Taxi can be ordered by the hotel for you as well and it is in walking distance to town as well as an underpass from by the hotel casino to the beach. We would go back - the only think which was an issue was that TUI informed us it was an adults only hotel but it wasn’t as there were children at the pool and staying at the hotel but that isn’t the hotels fault. Thank you HRH for making our first trip to Marbella so wonderful ❤️
Had a really nice day here. The food was good, the atmosphere was great and the pool area had a really nice vibe. Everything felt relaxed and we never felt rushed. We'll definitely come back
PEDRO IS AMAZING genuinely the best staff you have so helpful and amazing always ready to help PROMOTE HIM
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to a wonderful member of staff at Hard Rock Cafe Marbella who went above and beyond to help us last night. We found ourselves stranded in Marbella after our car became locked in an underground parking garage, leaving us in a very stressful situation late a night as we were tired and needed to return to our hotel in Ronda. Despite being busy, she showed genuine kindness, patience, and understanding. She was even preparing to help arrange a room for us if needed, took the time to call a taxi on our behalf, and kindly allowed me to charge my phone so we could continue making arrangements. Her professionalism, compassion, and willingness to help turned what could have been a very difficult evening into a manageable one. Customer service like this is rare and deserves recognition. Please pass on our heartfelt thanks. She is a credit to Hard Rock Cafe Marbella, and we will always remember her kindness. A special Thanks to You, I didn't catch your name but I saw your name badge also said (Nicki Minaj) 😀 Thank you again. With thia dedicated service and beautiful hotel, we will ensure a stay here next time come to Marbella for a visit. J.T. & Cleu
I recently stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Marbella from 9th–12th June with four friends, staying in rooms 1330 and 1331. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and nowhere near the standard we expected. The first issue arose at check-in, where we were unexpectedly told we had to pay a €300 security deposit per room. This was never disclosed during the booking process or anywhere on the hotel’s website. After disputing this, we were told they would instead place a €0.01 hold on our cards and would only charge us if we used the minibar or caused damage. We left both rooms in excellent condition and didn’t use a single item from the minibar, yet we’ve since had multiple unexplained charges of around £7.99 taken from our cards with no communication or explanation from the hotel. Customer service throughout the stay was very poor. Many members of staff came across as rude, dismissive and uninterested in helping guests. Simple requests often felt like an inconvenience. Breakfast was also disappointing. On one morning, a faulty ketchup dispenser sprayed tomato sauce all over my friend’s face and her brand-new white outfit. We informed staff immediately, but they showed very little concern and offered no meaningful apology or assistance. My friend was left having to pay for professional dry cleaning because of faulty equipment in the restaurant. Room 1331 had a terrible smell of sweat and damp for the entire stay. We identified the source as the carpeted pole in the middle of the room, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. It made the room unpleasant to spend time in and is something housekeeping should address urgently. We also found the prices within the hotel excessive – paying €5 for a tiny soft drink that was mostly ice felt unreasonable. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between the poor customer service, cleanliness issues, lack of transparency regarding the security deposit, faulty equipment at breakfast and the unexplained charges made to our bank cards after we checked out, we expected far better from a hotel carrying the Hard Rock name. I hope the hotel investigates these issues, refunds the unexplained charges and takes steps to improve the experience for future guests. Sadly, based on our experience, I would not return or recommend this hotel.
