Ikos Andalusia

Úžasný týden V hotelu Ikos Andalusia jsme byli první týden v září 2024. Byla to naše třetí návštěva řetězce Ikos a opět jsme nabyli zklamáni. Ubytovali jsme se v Junior Suite Deluxe s výhledem na moře. Pokoj byl velmi prostorný, moderní, čistý, s obrovskou koupelnou a zařízeným balkonem. Nespresso káva a plně zásobený minibar doplňoval luxus. Restaurace uspokojí i nejnáročnějšího strávníka, nám nejvíce chutnalo v OUZO a Seasons pro deluxe hosty s úžasnou Eliškou. Návštěvu Provence jsme si nechali na poslední večer jako třešničku na dortu s profesionální Ninou. Velké plus dáváme za ručníky na lehátkách, množství lehátek u bazénů a u moře, protože se nikdy nestalo. že by nebylo volno. Obsluha u bazénu a u moře vás tak rozmazluje, že je musíte odmítat. Chtěli bychom vyzvednout velmi profesionální slečnu Katarinu z Deluxe Collection Team, která pozvedla služby na nejvyšší úroveň. Zařídila nám návštěvu restaurace Tikitaka v program „Dine Out“ , jedné z nejlepších místních restaurací. Pomohla nám cennými radami při návštěvě Gibraltaru, Estepony, při vyřizování pozdního odhlášení a při zvládání všech našich rozmarů. Nikdy jsme se necítili tak rozmazlováni. Služba byla bezkonkurenční, personál byl pozorný, rychlý a zdvořilý, nic nebylo příliš obtížné.

We had an amazing experience at Ikos Andalusia. It was a perfect resort for families with kids - the facilities were amazing with so much to do, and the team at Heroes Club / crèche including Mercedes and Maria were so kind and loving with our young son. The food was great and the service everywhere was above and beyond. Our concierge Manuel made sure we had everything we needed at all times. We also loved the spa. I miss it already and we can’t wait to come back!

We have just returned from another stay at Ikos Andalusia, and once again it exceeded all expectations. It is remarkable how the resort continues to evolve, as our previous stays already felt so perfect, yet this visit still managed to surpass them. This was our fourth visit, and everything felt elevated, from the quality of the food and service to the small, thoughtful touches that define the experience here. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth. Under the leadership of the recently promoted Mr Tasos, the tone is clearly set for a level of service that is consistently above and beyond. There is a real sense that nothing is ever too much trouble, and the entire team go out of their way to make guests feel at home. It truly feels like returning somewhere familiar rather than staying in a hotel. On the food and beverage side, Poli runs a truly outstanding operation, and his passion and attention to detail are evident throughout. He has played a key role in taking the quality of the food and service to another level, while also expanding the creativity and range across the restaurants. His recommendations are consistently excellent, and his pride in what is being delivered across the resort is unmistakable. In particular, his addition of the black cod at Anaya (easily on a level with Nobu) and the chateaubriand at Seasons were a real masterstroke, reflecting the continued elevation of the culinary offering. In particular, Poli has helped elevate several standout dishes, including: • Fresco: bucatini alla carbonara, cooked in the traditional way with guanciale • Beach Club: chocolate cookies • Seasons: chateaubriand and crème fraiche cheesecake • Provence: beef tartare and sea bass carpaccio • Anaya: black cod and prawn ravioli • Chiringuito: grilled tuna • Evening “Dinner by the Sea”: scallops and beef ribeye Each reflects the consistency, ambition and attention to detail now being delivered across all restaurants. Athanasia, the Head Sommelier, was exceptional. Her knowledge and passion for wine, along with her recommendations from the ever-expanding Ikos cellar each evening, made every dinner special. It was also wonderful to see her back in full health this year. Her warm and engaging wine tastings were such a highlight that even my son now has an appreciation for rosé , which says everything about the experience she creates. Sonia at Provence was equally outstanding, arranging for the children’s favourite chocolate cookies from the Beach Club to be brought over so we could dine together as a family, a perfect example of the thoughtful touches that make a difference. At Fresco, Antonia impressed with her attention to detail, even remembering a dish I had ordered four days earlier, which made the experience feel genuinely personal. At Seasons, Yegir went the extra mile, After mentioning how much we enjoyed cheesecake, he suggested we try the Basque cheesecake at Olivia and arranged for it to be brought over to Seasons, a simple but unforgettable gesture, and absolutely delicious. Vasia and her team at the Spa were consistently friendly, welcoming and professional, with a beautifully calm atmosphere that enhanced the sense of relaxation. At Chiringuito, Darko’s service and attention to detail were consistently outstanding. Juan also added thoughtful touches such as bringing over a fresh beer just as I was finishing my glass. A simple gesture but with a lasting impression. In the evening, Chiringuito doubles up as a dinner venue by the sea, offering a beautiful beachfront setting as the sun goes down. It is a shame it is not open for an adults-only pre-booked breakfast by the sea, which would be a truly exceptional addition. Meriem, who turned down the beds in the evening, was always smiling, friendly and extremely helpful, adding a lovely personal touch at the end of each day. At the pool bar near the spa, the “pit-stop”, Kostas was excellent, serving the coldest beer in the resort and making it a perfect stop on the way to or from the beach or pool. On the beach, David Adam stood out for his exceptional attitude and constant willingness to help, always saying “I’m here if there’s anything you need,” perfectly reflecting the spirit of the team. At the adults’ pool, Thomas also made a lasting impression. He had a tattoo of a cross on his right arm with an initial, and shared that it was in memory of his father, who sadly passed away when he was only four. He spoke about saving for another tattoo, an angel watching over him in his father’s memory. It was a very touching exchange and a reminder of the warmth, openness and humanity of the team here. The standard of food across all restaurants was even higher than previous visits, with outstanding quality and creativity throughout. Having recently read Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara, it is impossible not to see this philosophy brought to life across the entire resort. It is embedded in the culture, from the highest management leadership through to every team member. The attention to detail, anticipation of guest needs, and instinct to create unexpected, memorable moments is exactly what the book describes, and it is delivered consistently and naturally without effort. Once again, a huge thank you to the entire team. We feel incredibly fortunate to return here and are already looking forward to our next visit!

What an incredible week my wife and I have just had at the IKOS Andalusia. We needed to drop and flop to recharge after a very stressful 2 years and that’s exactly what we were able to do. Hats off to the brilliant staff and a big shout out to Darko and his team (thank you to Gisella) at the beach hut where we ate every lunchtime because we were made to feel so special. ILDIKO at reception was excellent from the moment we arrived and ARGYRO, what a special lady you are helping with each restaurant for my wife’s dairy allergy, you were excellent. This is our third IKOS and the staff for me make it a fantastic experience across all of the facilities so thank you for making our holiday so magical 👍

This was our first visit to an Ikos hotel after receiving glowing recommendations from friends who had previously visited. Service levels were amazing especially to Sara and Michaelas on reception. We used the free car facility and golf at Los Naranjos which was great and also used the free bikes. The cleanliness of the resort was a 10/10 and food and drinks were fantastic. Will definitely go again, would not hesitate to recommend. I am gluten intolerant and the staff were brilliant and so was the food.
