Very nice hotel, great location, extensive choice of breakfast . Staff were friendly , spacious room, spotlessly clean and well equipped

On arrival we found only a certain section of the hotel was available to sunbathe. The pools are not open until 27th March which was not advertised when we booked through EasyJet. Spoke to the manager whom was not very helpful and he said it is displayed on the Hotel website, we didn't book through the website. People who asked for a refund were told it's not in our policy. Some were offered use of a Spa Club with pool access but at a charge of 40 Euros per day! And 20 minutes away. I know it's March but you expect the pool to be available at least and to not be penned in to one area of the hotel. Very misleading advertising and a serious lack of empathy from the hotel management. Even if the pool isn't open, the area surrounding should be available to sunbathe, with correct signage displayed regarding no pool use! A lot of unhappy people including families with young children unable to use the advertised facilities.

The Hotel is in a great location with all the amenities available. Staff were friendly and efficient. So much choice of food for breakfast which was always fresh. Loved every minute of my stay at the Occidental Hotel.

This hotel is impeccable, spotless, smells wonderful throughout. The staff are fabulous nothing was any trouble. From the reception to housekeeping. The Italian restaurant is excellent. Breakfast had a huge choice. All round no faults what so ever.

Centrally located hotel, with plenty of amenities in the vicinity. The marina/waterfront is no more than a three minute walk away. The hotel facilities were more than adequate for my needs. The rooms were bright, spacious, and well maintained. The staff at every level were professional, welcoming, and friendly. I for one would certainly return. Most probably will if our golf tour elects to play other courses in the area.
