I am writing this review after giving the hotel and the wider Palladium Group every opportunity to resolve a serious incident privately. Unfortunately the way the matter was handled from start to finish leaves me with no choice but to share my experience. I arrived at Bless Hotel Ibiza to find that another person had already been checked into the room that I had booked. This person was not listed on my reservation and I was not present at the time. The hotel allowed them access based on a digital image of my passport presented on a phone. This is a clear breach of basic identity verification and guest security. It is difficult to understand how a five star hotel can hand over a room to someone who is not named on the booking based on a photo of someone elses passport. When I arrived shortly afterwards the hotel refused to check me in because I did not have my physical passport with me, despite having just accepted a digital image for someone who was not even on the reservation. The inconsistency alone is unacceptable, but the bigger issue is the complete lack of accountability afterwards. I engaged with the hotel management and with the Palladium Group directly over several weeks. The responses I received were defensive, contradictory and at times inaccurate. No one took responsibility and no satisfactory resolution or compensation was offered. A five star hotel should provide safety, professionalism and consistent protocol. In my view Bless Hotel Ibiza failed on all three points. The incident itself was concerning, but the handling afterwards was even more disappointing. I travel extensively and stay regularly in premium hotels around the world. I have never experienced a situation where my room was handed to an unauthorised person and the hotel then refused to acknowledge the seriousness of the failure. I hope this review encourages the hotel to improve its procedures and its approach to guest security. Based on my experience I cannot recommend Bless Hotel Ibiza and I would advise travellers to proceed with caution.
Velmi pěkný bazén a bazén. Malá stvořená pláž do 100 let s malými malými snack bary / kavárnami. Fantastická střešní terasa a bazén Nápoje nejsou levné.
Není to luxusní zážitek ani začátek dovolené. A ne to, co jsem očekával od člena Leading Hotels of the World.
We recently stayed at Bless Hotel Ibiza and left deeply disappointed. As returning guests of over five years, we had always appreciated the high standards and personalized service this hotel once offered. Unfortunately, this latest visit revealed a noticeable decline. Our experience started poorly: upon arrival, there was no front desk staff present to welcome us, which is quite surprising for a luxury property. Despite arriving at 14:51 with a pre-arranged transfer, our room was not ready, and no estimated time was provided. We were simply told to go for lunch. At the rooftop restaurant, the experience did not improve. The food was underwhelming—cold, rubbery calamari and tasteless guacamole—though the sushi was decent. What stood out negatively was the repeated and somewhat pushy reminder from staff that tips were not included, which felt inappropriate. Service issues continued throughout our stay. Requests for extra pillows and towels were not fulfilled despite multiple interactions with staff. Poolside service was practically nonexistent; we had to settle ourselves, and no one approached us to offer food or drinks. Later that evening, room service didn’t answer the phone at all, and we had to go down to reception to resolve a simple request. While we appreciated a thoughtful cake left in our room, this small gesture could not compensate for the overall lack of service. Another major issue was a linen kaftan we accidentally left behind. Despite reporting it immediately, following up multiple times, and even providing proof of purchase and the cost of replacing the item, we received no meaningful response. By October 2025, we were informed that no refund or goodwill gesture would be offered. This level of customer care is unacceptable, especially for repeat guests. Finally, the spa policy is extremely disappointing. Restricting complimentary access based on room category is not aligned with 5-star hospitality standards. A spa is a core amenity, not an upsell. It’s clear that the hotel has lost the level of excellence it once had. Unless significant improvements are made, we would not recommend staying here. Update: Following the publication of this review, Bless Hotel Ibiza contacted us and issued a refund for the lost kaftan as a gesture of goodwill. While we appreciate the reimbursement, it is disappointing that this resolution only came after posting a negative review, despite the multiple proofs and follow-ups we had already provided months earlier. This does raise concerns about how guest issues are handled unless made public.
