We’ve just returned from a week at Insotel Club Tarida Playa and had a really enjoyable holiday overall. The buffet restaurant was generally very good, with plenty of choice and a nice variety of dishes each day. One area for improvement would be the food labelling. While most dishes had labels nearby, it wasn’t always obvious which label belonged to which dish, and some items weren’t labelled at all. The food at the pool bar was more average and the selection was fairly limited. Most of it seemed to be made with low-quality ingredients, although it was great that ice creams were available throughout the day and into the evening. Aside from the food, the pool bar was excellent. Service was always quick and friendly, there was a good selection of drinks, and we never had to wait long to be served. The outdoor seating area by the bar was one of our favourite spots. With fairy lights strung through the trees and beautiful sunset views, it created a lovely atmosphere for relaxing with a drink in the evenings. The evening entertainment was enjoyable enough, although many of the acts felt quite similar. Unfortunately, the music volume was often too low, which took away from the atmosphere. Our favourite evening entertainment was the bingo night, which was held at the bar rather than the main entertainment area. Our room was lovely, spacious, and kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. We had no issues at all with the air conditioning, despite some reviews mentioning problems, and the beds were very comfortable. We also never had any trouble finding sunbeds. Even at around 10am there were still plenty available. The pool itself isn’t particularly large, but it was more than adequate and never felt too overcrowded. It was only a short walk down a few steps to the beach, which was absolutely stunning. The soft golden sand, crystal-clear warm water, and fantastic selection of beachfront restaurants made it a perfect place to spend the day, or equally just to pop down for a quick swim. Overall, we had a wonderful week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I’ve stayed at many hotels in Ibiza over the years and would say this is a solid 3 star. We decided on this hotel because of the separate bedroom which meant my partner and I could sleep separately to my daughter. Accommodation We had the best room, top floor of the older white block. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Yes, there are a few tired fixtures but the size and comfortable beds were great for us. We had an amazing sea view from the top floor and huge balcony. Food The buffet was plentiful and we always had something nice to eat, with various themed evenings and one meal in the restaurant for paella. The staff were all amazing clearing up and ensuring it was run well. The lady running the paella restaurant deserves a special mention, she clearly loves her job and is proud to work there. Entertainment The girls running the day and evening activities were so much fun and deserve to be commended by the hotel chain. They were full of enthusiasm and made an effort to talk to all the guests. There was water polo in the day and a few other games. In the evening we only saw one act and they were good. Negatives There are not enough pool loungers for all the guests so at a busy time of year this needs to be considered. Bali beds at 30 euros per day were mostly empty. The hotel could improve the guest experience by allowing these to be bookable free of charge. There are no hotel owned beds on the beach so the ones nearest to the hotel are owned by a nearby bar. We did one day and it cost 45 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella. There is plenty of space for beds on the beach so this should be something the hotel looks into providing. Taxis were difficult at peak times and we waited half an hour to go out around 7:30pm. Kids aren’t allowed big blow up rings/floats at the pool as it is too small. There were lots of people using the hammock style floats which seemed to be allowed. We saw some very upset children not being able to use their new toys. The pool is small and was very cloudy - I did not see anyone check levels throughout the day. Would we go back? Maybe, the setting is lovely and we didn’t break the bank and had a relaxing break. There are plenty of other beautiful places on the island, but if you are looking for a family friendly all inclusive and not bothered about moving away from the resort, this is probably for you!
