Nereida

First visit as a 4 person friend group! Had a lovely experience, all staff were friendly and welcoming! We stayed in a self-catering room and it was adequate. Small kitchen with just a hob, no oven or kettle but we boiled water in a provided pot to make do. Taxis are not too expensive to get around the island, with the most expensive being €32 from the hotel to the harbour at Evissia. Buses are every 30 mins but stop around 10pm. Hotel has a fantastic view - lovely sunsets and lovely pool. Highly recommend!!

This was our 7th time at this hotel because it is so relaxing and friendly especially with the new pool which is a game changer our room was clean as usual ,the cleaners are friendly as normal . The food was a lot better than recently not as much choice but much better quality so please thank the bew chef , the var staff are excellent just like they have been for years again especially claire who as usual was amazing sadly we left early and didn't say goodbye I hoped she enjoyed the books my wife gave her sadly the strip is half shut down but there are still good places to go for all ages and but the best thing about this hotel is the view of the sunset forget mambo or cafe del mar the nereida has the best view and it's friendlier and cheaper for a 3starthis is one of the best thank you and see you soon

The hotel is in a great location. What made this extra special was the direct access to the beach - complete with loungers and shades. We didn’t relax by the pool much - but when we wanted to, there were loungers available. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. It’s worth paying for a sea view as the view is wonderful. We were bed and breakfast. The food was lovely and an added bonus of being served to 11am meant a nice lie in followed by a delicious Spanish breakfast with REAL orange juice! I would absolutely return. A word of warning - the shop across the road tried to swindle me twice when giving me my change (short by €5!) - keep your wits about you as I suspect this is a regular occurrence.

AC Didnt work reported 3 times and no one came to check let alone fix the issue, bed bugs have bitten all 3 of us. Room was dirty when we arrived floors all sticky and dusty and the shower base was also dirty. These things are very important basic standard things that shouldnt be an issue.

Great location for us . Reasonably quiet with lovely sea view and stunning sunsets. A little disappointed that a kettle was only provided with a €30 deposit and daily charge as we were staying for 14 days we went into San Antonio and bought a kettle. The appartment was very spacious and comfortable with 2 balconies and 2 televisions . Despite catering for a lot of English guests there were no English channels available After conversation with reception staff they did get a BBC channel but no sound!! Food and drink was acceptable for us as we like different meals but am not sure it would suit a meat and 2 veg type diner. The staff were lovely particularly the dinning room staff. On the whole a nice hotel and we mostly enjoyed our stay. Transport links are good with buses and water buses . Thank you.
