San Miguel Park & Esmeralda Mar

The staff here are first class, friendly and accommodating from arrival. Hotel has great views across the bay, however you do need to be mobile lots of steep walks & steps. Our room was large and would easily accommodate 2 adults 2 children, everything worked and was clean. Some parts slightly outdated, but the hotel are clearly aware of this and are working hard to update. Bar staff superb with good selection of drinks. The restaurant was spotless and clearly the lady in charge was running a tight ship and doing a great job. The staff again were great and the food was good, varied and nothing repetitive (I’ve read some previous reviews and I’m not sure what people expect!) Breakfast was great, something for everyone. The village - if you want a quiet holiday with great views, good walking trials etc then this is for you. 3/4 shops, 3-4 restaurants (all of a good standard) the locals were using all of them, one Irish bar (there always is wherever you 🍻😂) If you’re expecting more I’d say go to Ibiza Town or San Antonio……

Second visit to this hotel and it was amazing I emailed the hotel to see if I could have low floor and they gave us a low floor behind the restaurant.The food was good, The restaurant staff were very nice Ana,Alexandra, Kimberley and jayjo the barman and the reception staff were great too

5th time in going to this hotel. again staff from the guy on reception to the bar staff to the servers in the restaurant to the cleaners are all very polite & helpful i cant fault the staff at all in the years we have been going, downfall this year was in the restaurant they changed the buffet area which that in itself was okay problem was that the food (main meal) lacked options compared to previous years, it was a large range of salad, 1 meat, 1 fish, 1 pasta , pizza most nights, 1 night of burger & 1 night of hot dogs, as well as chips, potato, roasted veg , very disappointed on this as in previous years there was always a varied range of meals that catered for all. apart from the food everything else was as we expected. again this location is not ideal for people with mobility issues

Had a wonderful 10 days here. Lovely apartment (607) very spacious and clean. Walking distance to a lovely beach with a most needed sea breeze. The hotel gives you vouchers to use at the beach bar for drinks through the day and you get free kayak hire if you book via reception. we found all the staff really friendly and helpful, particularly Alessandro and Hanna. They work very very hard, so a smile and a bit of Spainish is appreciated by them. Cleaning staff are brilliant. I slept like a log in my comfy apartment which was up the back. We took local buses to Ibiza Town and Es Canar and taxis to Benirras beach. Like some say not much going on in the evening in resort but we were happy on the beach most evenings. This resort is not for those with mobility issues.

It is a very peaceful place to go to and the entertainment is fun especially if you have young children where they can have a variety of activities , you don't have to fight over sun beds, if you are all inclusive you can get ice cream for free and there were no queues for drinks but on the upper pool the bar doesn’t seem to open on time and they often like to close earlier as well. The pools are deep so i would advise not letting your children go in without someone watching them. I wouldn’t advise bringing old people since the hotel is set into a side of a hill.
