Grupotel Playa Camp de Mar

Wonderful hotel overlooking the beach nothing to complain about only sun beds being taken staring at 6.30am and think this should be addressed. This did not spoil the holiday as we used the beautiful beach . The bedrooms are very well equipped and we had a gorgeous view . I have stayed at this hotel on four occasions and it is very consistent you know what you are getting and the cleanliness excellent. Camp de Mar is a wonderful place to visit more upmarket than some of the resorts I thoroughly recommend.

A very enjoyable holiday, hotel was excellent, lovely breakfast with plenty of choice for all tastes. Location was perfect for a quiet chilled holiday, which is what we wanted. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Been returning hear for the last 13yrs.Fantastic beach and views hotel staff fantastic . If you want a chilled out holiday this is the place to be no good if you're a party animal.

After reading some of the recent reviews we considered changing hotels. Do not give in to the miserable nay sayers. The hotel is great. Location is outstanding. Everything you need in a qtr mile radius. A couple of nice restaurants, bars, shops and beach. The staff are all so friendly and pleasant, and the place is kept very clean. It might not be the most modern but had charm and the best location of all the hotels in camp de mar. Nice and spacious room, sea view. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Buffet, with so much on offer. And it changed every morning to offer something different. The hotel has a range of nationalities and caters for all. If all you want is Benidorm brits abroad then maybe this is too exotic for you, but we loved it. Downsides as they where, the fridge in the room kept liquid at room temperature at best. The gym had a dart board and pool table in it, which isn't a gym, and the morning rush to get the 'premium' seats is quite frankly, embarrassing. However, in the time we where there, there was no issue getting a chair, if a bit back from the pool. You also get towels and cushions for the chairs. A welcome surprise was a changing room to get showered before you leave. We loved it, and hope to come back some time.
