Grupotel Playa Camp de Mar

Back home after 3 weeks at this fantastic hotel. We never tire of this place, simply because from entering the foyer you are made welcome by the receptionists and the rest of the staff until you leave. The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms to the fantastic spreads put out in the restaurant by Diego at breakfast and evening meal take some beating. Leave the restaurant and head to the bar for the entertainment after dinner served by the friendliest ever smiling bar staff you will ever meet. The restaurant has Otunba at the helm with a lovely group of young ladies to assist. I must mention we missed Xisco this time and hope he gets well soon. We hope to see you again in 2027 but realise some of the staff who we have become good friends with will not be returning due to other commitments and wish you all well in the future.

Fantastic hotel but made even better with the beautiful location. Great evening entertainment. Only went b&b but Excellent choice of food. Very clean rooms, we were in room 519, cannot fault it. Would be nice if it was slightly cheaper but you get what you pay for.

This hotel is exceptional and I have no hesitation in recommending it! I have just returned after my 5th visit and it was another perfect stay! All the staff are very friendly and work hard to give you a good time! The food is amazing and plenty of choice making your meal times so enjoyable! Thanks to everybody who looked after me although I travel alone I never felt lonely!! God willing I will return next year! Xx

This wasn't the first time of going to this wonderful hotel. It feels like home from home but the atmosphere has changed from how it used to be. The hotel used to be just English and now it has quite a few German people in it. Even the TUI rep was a German Gentleman. So the bay now has three German hotels. There's nothing going on during the day and it used to be full on entertainment and games. The evening entertainment was only in the main bar. So there wasn't enough room for all guests to sit down and it was very loud. The swimming pool/Jacuzzi used to be heated and lovely and warm, but now it's really cool. I noticed not many people were using it. I will say the only thing that has stayed the same is, the staff are all wonderful and can't do enough for you. The housekeepers work quickly and try and keep out of sight. Gini kept our room spotless. The restaurant, the food is of high standard and Gino cooks a great fried egg. Otunba, Carmen and Antonio make sure you have enough to eat and drink. So thank you everyone for another great holiday and hope to see you again.

Once again what can I say that I haven’t said before …continues to be our favourite hotel. Yes it’s changed over the years but nothing is forever and a holiday is what you make it helped by the wonderful staff with Jose at the helm! Special thanks to Otunba Esther Paco Diego Gino and Valentina and also Dora.. the maid .. and all the others whose names I can’t remember especially the young ones in the bar. The food continues to be excellent especially the Salmon baked in salt with lovely potatoes!! Visited Sant Elm for the first time and it’s definitely worth a visit.
