myself n friend went on a girly holiday and just came back. the hotel is really nice, we only did bed and breakfast but the breakfast is by far the best ive had when on holiday. they cook u fresh omelette if u ask. they do a pay by day for all inclusive if u decide to stay around the pool for the day, 40 euro for drinks and food for the day which is really worth it. u can rent towels out at reception for 10 euro refundable deposit and can change them when needed. the lifts are tiny but u can easily fit 4 people in one and 6 in the other. the frozen strawberry daiquiri from the bar are amazing. the rooms are small as people stated and we did ask at reception for a bigger room but was told there all the same size apparently but on reviews the staff have said if u mention they can sort which obviously didnt happen, so maybe they shouldn't be writing that. the major downside for us was the air-conditioning, which was awful and if its like that in all rooms come summer ur gonna struggle, especially if there are a few of u in the room.we stay on the 4th floor in room 401. I personally wouldnt pay for the sea view upgrade as there is absolutely no way a full Seaview is available due to the trees in the path of the beach, but the beach is just a couple mins walk. the beach beds were good and they had lockers on them which was really convenient for leaving phones etc and knowing there safe, we used the beds but didnt pay but apparently they do charge. the area of the hotel is fab, 10 min walk from all the bars.

Stayed at Hotel Isabela from 13–18 June as a group of six, occupying three rooms. The airport transfer by private taxi took around 30 minutes. The location is excellent, right next to the beach, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and bus stops within easy walking distance. The hotel itself was very welcoming on arrival. The reception staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Tourist tax is payable upon check-in, and pool towels are available for a €10 deposit and can be exchanged when needed. One small touch we really appreciated was the lovely scent throughout the main entrance area. We stayed in rooms 403, 305, and 306. All rooms were well equipped with a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, a free safe, and a fridge. While the rooms are not particularly large, we never found space to be an issue when getting ready. The shower was excellent, with reliable hot water at all times, and there was plenty of storage for clothes and personal belongings. We booked on a bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfast exceeded expectations. There was a great variety of quality food to suit all tastes, and we had no complaints whatsoever. The pool area was always clean and well maintained, with relaxing background music playing throughout the day. The pool opens at 9:00 am, although guests were reserving sunbeds with towels from around 8:00 am. Despite this, there were usually plenty of sunbeds available throughout the day, although this may be different during peak season. The pool closes promptly at 7:00 pm, so if, like us, you enjoy spending time by the pool later in the evening, you'll need to head to the beach instead. This was a slight disappointment. The pool bar was excellent, and the staff consistently provided friendly and welcoming service. There is also a small gym and a pleasant outdoor space, which was a nice addition. My only criticism was the lack of information provided on arrival. Many hotels either give guests a brief overview of facilities and opening times or provide an information sheet at check-in. The information was available through signage, and staff were always happy to help when asked, but it would have been useful to receive this information upfront. Overall, this was a great choice, and I would happily recommend Hotel Isabela to anyone visiting Santa Ponsa. Thank you for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Rooms very small and poor selection of food. Food very repetitive and not hot often cold or warm . Staff speak very little English and hard communicating with them . Should be a three star hotel at most. Hotel doesn’t even change money and no entertainment on a night. Pool not ideal for people with disabilities
