HM Isabela - Adults Only

Just back from staying at the isabella, hotel was lovely, very clean and modern and the majority of the staff were very friendly, the breakfast in our opinion was great. Pool is lovely and its in a great location, we stayed in a double room with a pool view and the beds were very comfortable...however! 1. The noise in the hotel is shocking, screaming and shouting from guests coming in from nights out not just outside which i would understand but also on the stairs, on the corridors, we did mention is politely to the night security and he said it wasnt noisy at all which we found weird. But that night the noise was reduced to a minimum. Which we were great full to finally get a full night sleep. From the 9nights we stayed the noise level meant we had 2 full night sleeps! 2. We had a room with an adjourning door and could hear the full conversations and domestic arguments from guests at 2am!! 3. We had extended our stay and paid for this a day prior to leaving, our room card had stopped working so I went to ask for the key to be reset as we couldn't get back into the room when explaining to the receptionist (long dark hair and glasses) I was met to a very rude attiutude who said we should have checked out at 11am but her aggressive and patronising demour was non acceptable. When another receptionist stepped in who I dealt with to extend our stay and sorted the problem she was very approachable and friendly. But also our room was not cleaned that day. We wouldn't stay in this hotel again which is a shame but due to the noise as we have stayed in many other hotels in Santa ponsa before and never experienced this!

Rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. From the sun terrace you have a lovely view of the beautiful beach which is a stone throw away. There is a free safe and useful free WiFi. We stayed bed and breakfast which had everything you need, tea, coffee, cereals, toast,hot and cold meats, with all sorts of eggs, you know, fried scrambled,omelets made up fresh. We would stay here again as our first choice accommodation in Santa Ponsa.

Amazing hotel, lovely staff, great location. Noise can be an issue late at night from other people coming in drunk, and curtains aren't blackout so the light comes in pretty early. We had booked a junior suite with sea view, the sea view was miniscule you could barely see it. We had an awful smell coming from the apartment above I believe it was always when they flushed the toilet ( yes we could hear there toilet and shower) we also had an issue with some ants, maybe 20 or 30 overall the 5 days we stayed. Cleaning ladies came everyday and bed was huge. We also got to check in quite earlier than usual and check out at 2am with a 24 hour reception desk and they called us a taxi. Overall it is what you get for a 4 star. I would return but keep these things in mind

We booked this hotel as a budget holiday and we were still disappointed. Good points - exceptionally clean and modern, good location with shops cafes and beach on the door step, comfy beds updated room friendly staff Bad points - The worst food and drinks in an all-inclusive we have experienced in 30 years, not only the quality but the quantity, they produced meatballs and chicken wings as the main meat dish, fish soups, tough or undercooked meat and fish at the cook station, dessert consisted of one choice of cake, tangerine jelly, lumpy custard with a soggy biscuit on top, ice cream, come on it's an adult only hotel so please don't serve baby food! Also for the first 4 days none of the food had labels! I had to ask the waitress for the flavours of ice cream as obviously vanilla was over thier budget. After 3 days of many complaints the jet 2 rep came to take pictures of the food and sample it, hope it gets better for the summer! Swimming pool icy cold and vertical steps. Mixed guests, half over 60s couples looking forward to a quiet relaxing break including us, and groups of 20 something out to party. Couldn't wait to leave!

Staff were absolutely wonderful and can’t fault any of them, the rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. santo was a member of staff who stood out and always happy to help with anything. Location is ideal right next to the beech. Now for the negatives food is very poor Quality and not much choice Drinks on the all inclusive limited and limited Bly cheap local brands unless you want to upgrade at 30 euros a day per couple and still limited choice. Not allowed in the Irish soul bar with drinks even though some people were depended on the barman at the time but do get 10 percent discount. Definitely not a 4 star hotel in my opinion so won’t return unfortunately
