Iberostar Selection Es Trenc (ex. THB Sur Mallorca)

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the wonderful SANTIAGO we knew we were in for a treat! The room, the pool, the staff, the food, the spa…. Everything was 10/10 and we left pledging to return. Thank you to all the team who helped make my birthday getaway unforgettable ❤️

We had a lovely 3 night stay as a family of 4 with interconnecting rooms. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. We booked here as the hotel looked nice and was close to Es Trenc. The surrounding area is fairly quiet. It was helpful to have the hotel drive us to Es Trenc beach as it’s a bit far to walk in hotter weather. You can book a time for pick up and drop off. The hotel facilities are excellent and the cleaning standards high. The pools always had plenty of space and the rooftop was very peaceful - sometimes only us up there. The breakfast selection was really good. As we had dinner included in our booking we did not get to try the other restaurant. We all found something we liked in the dinner selection - I would have preferred slightly better labelling though, as a vegetarian I was not always sure and had to ask. That would be my only suggestion for this hotel. I would love to return one day

This is a really nice hotel. A contemporary feel about the whole place. Nice pool area, lovely rooftop bar with small pool, regular entertainment. Breakfast was excellent with so many options. There is a regular free mini bus to the nearest beach, which takes about 15 mins, but it's worth the trip But the real highlight here is the staff. So friendly and helpful, without being overbearing. They couldn't do enough for you and always with a genuine smile. It's probably wrong to pick out one person, but I will mention Santiago who drove the mini bus to the beach one day. He was such fun and we enjoyed the trip almost as much as the beach!

Quite simply an excellent hotel that has only been open a couple of years. The staff are first class - attentive, helpful and very hard working. Facilities are excellent two pool swimming areas and access to the sea where you can snorkel (free from reception) and see lots of fish. Regular events in hotel - exercise classes, local food/wine tasting, live music, movie night but none are pushed to guests all are there for you to take or leave as you please. Breakfast first class - lots of choices and quality ingredients. Colonia St. Jordi is a little sleepy some nice restaurants and a nice seafront area but if you are looking for nightlife until the early hours this is not the resort for you. Alternatively if you are looking for a relaxing authentic Mallorcan break in an excellent hotel in a pretty location. You would struggle to find better. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Iberostar Es Trenc and it is very likely we will be back. A big thank you to all the lovely staff - you are all a credit to the hotel.

We had an incredible stay at Iberostar Selection Es Trenc. The food was outstanding, a huge variety and genuinely superb quality and the cocktails were delicious throughout. Service was consistently warm and attentive, and the pool area was a lovely place to unwind. My husband especially loved the direct access to the crystal‑clear sea, perfect for snorkelling and absolutely full of fish. The sunset views from the rooftop pool were unforgettable, made even better with more amazing cocktails and atmospheric chilled music setting the mood. Exactly what we needed to rest and recharge. Five stars ❤️
