JS PortoColom Suites

Stayed at JS Portocolum Suites for 1 week 27 April to 5 May 2026. Suites are spacious and comfortable . Location is good in Portocolum around a hour’s drive from Palma Airport , with a beach close by. Easy access by car to other major beach areas of Cala D’Or and Portocristo. Breakfast and dinner buffets are great, with lots of choice and variety. There is a live cooking grill too and we particularly liked the varied menus. Outdoor pools are good size with lots of sunbeds. There is also a Spa area including of sauna, steam room and indoor pool / Jacuzzi with jets. Gym has good equipment and is modern. Overall value is very good if taking the half-board option. Hotel atmosphere is great! Fran , the entertainment representative organises good sports and fitness activities during the day. He also leads the night entertainment organisation after dinner which often includes bingo, quizzes & shows by external dance performers and singers. Special thanks to the hotel director Milagros ( Millie) for making our stay very comfortable. Would definitely recommend JS Portocolum suites!

The rooms were excellent. Big suite rooms and very clean. Very friendly everyone and nice buffet in the morning and perfect night buffet. The location is close to the Beach. The animator Maurice was unbelievable good !

Lovely quiet location, practically at the water, lovely walk along seeing the boats, & places to stop for refreshments. Bits of very small beach. Behind the hotel about a 15 min walk takes you to a proper beach. Such friendly reception staff, in fact all staff always smiling & attentive. Rooms are amazing, small fridge too, no icebox. 2 sets of double patio doors onto sizeable balcony with more than enough room for chairs & coffee table. Food we felt was excellent, fresh cooking breakfast & dinner, such a choice of salad, lots put out individually, their presentation was amazing, Fajitas, pork suckling pig, shawarma, choice per evening, fresh fish, chicken to be cooked. Always pizza, different pastas, I saw them present people with trays, I assume gluten free/allergies etc Could go on and on.Entertainment was basic but everyone had a good laugh, in April their were heaters & blankets outside if you needed them. Indoor pool fine for doing laps, gym was excellent. We attended Zumba at 11, some days. Pool area was beautiful, bar inside very smart. Restaurant looked amazing, not like a canteen. Had a sheltered area with ping pong, air hockey etc Small play park outside, basketball nets.

Just stayed at the Portcolom Suites for a week in April 2026. The room itself was decent, it was very clean and the shower was fantastic. We found it very odd that there weren't any tea/coffee facilities in the room though, even just a kettle would've been handy so we could grab our own tea bags etc. The food was better than I expected and changed every evening so it was nice to have something different. We loved the ribs and kebabs! The staff were really lovely, in particular - Fran the entertainer; the nicest guy! The pools areas are lovely but it would be better if the indoor pool could be heated for cooler days (the buttons for the extra bits on the inside pool didn't fully work either) The area was pretty and the restaurants and shops nearby were nice but it was a little quiet for us so we probably wouldn't return but it was was a lovely trip to get some peace and quiet - perfect for anyone looking for some real down time.

Just back from a fabulous 4nt stay at the Suites. Every aspect of the hotel delights. Staff through the hotel, from the warm welcome from Paula on reception, to all staff in restaurant, pool bar and housekeeping. Cleanliness was 10/10 in all areas. Food a delicious buffet delight at every meal with a micro wave available should food not be hot to one’s preferred taste. Plenty of buffet choice in restaurant and menu choice at pool bar for all, including children. Rooms spacious, immaculate and beds comfortable. Lovely pool and children’s pool areas again immaculately kept. View from treadmill in spacious, clean gym enough to take your mind from task in hand! Outside hotel is a local community square lined with restaurants. The promenade in front of square is work progressing along the bay and will be a lovely walk when finished. Local beach 10min walk, supermarket 5min walk. Look forward to returning next April/May.
