Alua Illa de Menorca

My 5th visit to this hotel. Once more the staff are excellent always friendly and helpful by that I mean all the staff whatever their job is. The food and drinks as usual plenty to choose from. My only complaint is booked a room with a walk in shower and this was on the first floor over the entertainment room which I found to be extremely noisy. Would I go again, the answer is Yes

If you want a quiet location, this is an ideal hotel. Very friendly staff that will try and accommodate all of your needs. Plenty of activities/entertainmentfor all age groups. Well worth a visit.

Lovely and quiet area. Hotel was very relaxed. There was always plenty variety at meals and the drinks menu was great for an all inclusive. Room was modern and spotless clean.

We have just returned from a family holiday and would have no hesitation in returning, we had a super holiday. The food was excellent, we have stayed in other 5* hotels in Menorca and found the food here to be better. There was a great choice each evening & at breakfast. I particularly enjoyed the salads and desserts. Chef Nicholas was great, very welcoming and accommodating of any dietary needs. In our case it was providing chocolate doughnuts for our daughter at breakfast. The drinks at the hotel bar were lovely, we enjoyed different cocktails and Sangria. The rooms, reception area and poolside were spotlessly clean. We enjoyed using the sports facilities and played tennis, which was €15 for all equipment and exclusive use of the court for an hour. There was free parking outside of the hotel and we found having a hire car gave us an opportunity to explore the island. The pool was a very quiet, chilled environment. For us travelling as a family we were pleased to have the option of using the pool at Alua Sun where it was a bit more lively with poolside games tailored to children. Each evening there was entertainment which we really enjoyed, hosted by entertainment lead Ray who was lovely and made us feel really welcome. Our daughter suffered a nasty jellyfish sting whilst we were there and the staff were so kind to her.

We had a wonderful stay at Alua Illa de Menorca and were very happy with our overall experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay, and the hotel facilities were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was also excellent for exploring the island. As a small point for improvement, the upper shower pipe/head in our room seemed to have a minor leak, which caused a little water to escape while showering. It was not a major issue and did not affect our stay, but it may be worth checking for future guests. Thank you for a great experience. We would be happy to stay again in the future.
