So we came for 7 night stay at end of October (end of season), we stayed in a premium location room that was perfect if you struggle with hills and steps as there are a lot of hills to get to most of the accommodation blocks. The room was very nice, fairly modern and plenty of room, room was cleaned everyday and you got fresh towels. The resort itself was a bit of a let down, not sure if it was because of it being end of season but the seating area wasn’t massively clean and there were broken seats etc only one bar open at a time which meant long queue to get a drink, the drinks are basic with the cocktails are out of a machine and weren’t always the best we found sticking to beer or spirit and mixer was the best, restaurant was good and the food was also good, most meals were repetitive but every few days they would offer something different but all the food we had was very tasty and the pizza is very good! the snack bar was usually food left over from the meal before and was often cold food so we avoided it. The pool seemed clean and was a good size, there was normally beds available but if you want one in the sun get one early or go after lunch and the splash park/slides were good however offer difficult to get a bed and also a good walk away from the bar another downsize was there are loads of wasps around main pool which meant it was very difficult to relax as they were buzzing around your head all the time and a few people were stung while we were here. The staff were very friendly and it was easy to go out for the day with the buses and taxis and the supermarket at the resort was handy, loads of inflatables for the pool/beach and they had drinks snack to buy and some basic toiletries. Beach was good, very shallow in the sea and often warmer than the pool just watch out for jellyfish! All in all it was a ok hotel, but even at the end of season gets very busy and it doesn’t feel big enough, and I think for the money we paid we could of gone somewhere nicer.
Vše v naprostém pořádku, nádherné ubytování, čisto, krásná koupelna včetně fénu, výměna ručníků, hezké posezení na balkoně...,jídlo výborné a příjemný personál. Krásná příroda okolo, Mohu jen doporučit a určitě se ráda vrátím na stejné místo:))
Hi fergus What rooms have a sea view? Can you confirm ? Also which rooms have a balcony please? Hopefully will be booking as soon as I get abit more information
344 / 5.000 A very nice hotel right by the sea. The staff were very helpful from the moment we arrived, and almost all the guests were very friendly; there was a great atmosphere. The food was quite average for an all-inclusive hotel, and there were always vegetarian options. A very good option for families because of the water park located within the hotel.
We spent 5nights here, during the last week in October. We travelled as a couple with a 14yr old. I must admit the water park on site was one of the reasons I booked for my teenage boy. Sadly the slides etc are very much geared for small children and the photos do exaggerate the size and facilities in it. He didn't use it at all. The beach is literally outside of the hotel, it's definitely worth climbing the steps and walking the wooden path to the larger bay. The sea was warm and the bay is very scenic. We booked a premium 1 bedroom apartment, it had clearly been updated, the bathroom was very nice. We used the sofa bed in the lounge for my son. If you were in the apartment as a couple the space would be adequate, however with 3 we found that there's certainly little room for 3 suitcases and all clothes. The restaurant is very loud, lots of families too busy for us, we tried to eat outside when we could but the wasps were a problem. The food on offer is generally very good and there is certainly lots of choice, unfortunately most of the 'hot' choices were lukewarm at best. I found a microwave in the dining room and used it daily. The organisation of the bar and offer of drinks is very frustrating, during the day the pool bar is the only place to get a drink. The queues are ridiculous, one member of staff on at a time, same when the bar opens near the entertainment and the pool bar closes, the queues just move. The pool was very clean and clear, however, it wasn't heated it was extremely cold! The bus stop is right outside the hotel I would definitely recommend going to Fornells to look around and sample the restaurants. There is a supermarket outside the hotel with a variety of food drink and holiday items, we ended up buying wine most days and having a drink on the balcony rather than queuing, despite having paid for all inclusive. We weren't flying home until 9pm so we enquired about a late checkout on day one, we were told that they wouldn't commit until the morning of departure but as it was end of season they thought it would be fine. Unfortunately on morning of departure it wasn't fine! No other room or shower room offered or available just a large luggage room! We will definitely return to menorca but not this hotel.
