Vše v naprostém pořádku, nádherné ubytování, čisto, krásná koupelna včetně fénu, výměna ručníků, hezké posezení na balkoně...,jídlo výborné a příjemný personál. Krásná příroda okolo, Mohu jen doporučit a určitě se ráda vrátím na stejné místo:))

I am writing this review as a matter of urgency to warn other families about severe, structural health and safety failures at FERGUS Club Carema Splash. I must state first that the hotel personnel and frontline staff were very nice, polite, and friendly throughout this ordeal. It is absolutely not their fault that the hotel has been built in such a way and is not being maintained properly by the owners and corporate management. They did their best to help us under impossible circumstances. However, the lack of maintenance shows terrifying structural issues. During our stay, my entire family experienced sharp electric shocks when touching the running tap water in our room. The hotel electrician confirmed that a cracked heating element (resistor) in the water boiler was actively leaking live electrical current directly into the plumbing system. Management claimed the room was fixed and safe after replacing the boiler's resistor, but they said absolutely nothing about the building's grounding system. The room’s electrical grounding and safety trip switches completely failed to cut the power when the water first became electrified. If the safety net failed in the first place, there is no reason to believe it wouldn't fail again if another part cracked. To make matters worse, we were moved to a temporary second room, only to wake up the next morning to find water leaking directly out of the active ceiling light fitting. The mixing of water and live electrical fixtures created another severe risk of fire or electrocution. This issue was probably caused by the storm, but the issue with the water and electricity is completely separate. When we addressed this, they said the property was fully booked. They told us our only option was to stay in the original room. It is completely unacceptable and we refused to risk our and our children's lives, contacted our holiday provider, Jet2, and demanded an immediate emergency relocation to a completely different hotel on the island. The staff are lovely, but the building itself currently has critical infrastructure failures. Avoid this hotel until a certified, independent safety audit has been completed. On a secondary but incredibly frustrating note, our room had a completely broken shower head and no kettle. When I asked reception for a kettle simply to heat up water to make my baby's formula bottles, I was told we would have to pay a €10 rental fee plus an additional €10 cash deposit—and the same policy applied to any basic kitchen utensils we might need. Charging a premium to a family just to safely feed an infant is unacceptable for a resort. But this is nothing compared to the frightening experience with the water. We moved to another hotel where we felt safe to shower our children and ourselves and each other hands. I think that's a bare minimum you need on a family holiday. I feel for the personnel that work there.

Very good value for money. My family and I had a really enjoyable week at this hotel. Weather was lovely for the time of year and the hotel had everything we needed. Rooms were clean and modern enough, facilities were good and most of the staff were excellent. the entertainment team were so good with the kids (and adults), special mention to Danny. The check in from Petra was very welcoming and informative. The karaoke was good fun and they had a lady singer and guy on saxophone one night who had the place rocking. Only minor criticism was the lack of variety of the food but for what we paid, the value for money was excellent. Would definitely return.

Just returned back from a week away! We had 2 young kids and a 1 year old with us. Ignore the negative reviews, it’s perfect for a cheap family getaway! Food was lovely, a mexican one night with tacos and korean/chinese one night. The veggie lasagne was lovely! It would have been nice to have more veggie options but i could make do with the options. Only niggling bits for me were the sofa bed was faulty and took hours for someone to fix it. The bathroom flooded one day when one of us showered. We also had a buggy for our 1 year old and was really inconvenient as the hotel has a lot of stairs so my partner had to carry the buggy up and down flights of stairs. It would have been nice for water bottles to be replenished every day. The entertainment was great, staff amazing (although one of the restaurant staff gave my 1 year old a row for throwing food on the floor, which obviously can’t be helped as she’s literally 14 months old). I would come to this hotel again as kids get older.

I always like to start with positives and I have to hand it to the Entertainment Team here, particularly ‘Goofy’ who was fantastic with our kids and ‘Johnie’ at the snack bar works around the clock like a Trojan! The main bed was incredibly comfy and was a king which is a huge bonus for a co-sleeping family! The surrounding area is really beautiful and picturesque. Unfortunately I do feel this hotel is mid-sold and it’s definitely not a 4 star, maybe a 2 star+ at best. The rooms are dated as other reviews say, our room had lots of cracked tiles in the bathroom and also a leak which caused the tiles to be slippy with young children. We did report to reception. The waterpark broke down on Day 3 and we couldn’t use it again until our final day. No one was able to tell us why and staff just shrugged their shoulders when asked. The staff are not particularly friendly apart from the Entertainment Team. I would go as far to say that some of the bar and restaurant staff are quite rude and grumpy. They work very hard but clearly don’t have any job satisfaction. We found the restaurant to be so busy and chaotic. It was very overwhelming. We tried to sit outside when we could but as also mentioned the flies and wasp infestation is impossible. They are in the food, in the drinks, the flies were landing in my baby’s mouth and on her lips. There are no preventative measures whatsoever and I cannot understand why they wouldn’t do something simple like light citronella candles on all the tables outside. The food is basic and gets very repetitive. As the restaurant was so busy, food was often cold or running out by the time you managed to serve yourself. It is very very hilly. We knew that before we came but we did over 13,000 steps a day with a baby and two small children just going to meals and the pool. It’s not for the faint hearted! If you are considering booking, I personally would look elsewhere. We went off season so I can’t imagine how these issues are intensified in peak season. We will not be back and I sadly would not recommend.
