We went to this hotel in May 2025 and have just returned from another great 11 night holiday. This one did not disappoint either. I could just copy and paste what I wrote in May because once again it was excellent relaxing holiday. Activites. I love having a go at the activities as it's made so inclusive and enjoyable by Mayte and Judith. The activities included archery, air rifle, air hand gun, Shjoelen, shuffle board, darts, boules, ping pong, water aerobics and fun games like 'Bang Bang" and lots of others. You make lots of friends through joining in and everyone is made so welcome. Entertainment ... Again it was a high standard with singers, magician / escapologist, jugglers / contortionist. The singers got the place 'rocking' and that's tough when I'd say most of the audience were probably 55+ in age! Whoever booked the acts did a great job. The Mowtown evening was the best music and the Etheopian Circus were amazing. The only 'dud' was the Reggae duo. Staff ... All the staff were friendly, helpful and did a fantastic job. This covered everything from those who did the bedrooms, cleaning, cooking, clearing up, serving in the bar, reception etc. I must highlight how well Astrid on reception dealt with a person who was smoking on the decking where smoking is prohibited. She did it in a very professional manner and it didn't happen again. Gemma at the bar was also great as she always had a smile and all I'll say to her is "save the legs". Cleanliness.. It was spotless. All public areas were kept so clean and tidy. There was no litter and tables were cleared very quickly. The restaurant was a great place to eat. The air temperature and humidity was perfect. All the staff were super quick and friendly. Food and drink .. The food was a 'help yourself' buffet and the range on offer was very good. There was plenty of choice with chicken and pork being the most common meat though. I didn't hear anyone complaining about being hungry as there was plenty of choice. We were AI and the spirits / liquors were not premium brands but they were available to buy. Also the bar staff were very friendly, helpful and worked very very very hard. They were all great. Hard external areas ... they were kept clean and tidy all day and evening. There is a large decking area next to the bar / entertainment room which has plenty of chairs / tables and soft seating. It also benefits from a canopy that can provide shade for 50% of it. The pool area is down a few steps and would benefit from a handrail being fitted though. I saw the pool water being tested frequently. There is also a chairlift to help people in and out of the water. Soft external areas .... There are large grassed areas for people to use if they wanted to be away from the pool / decking area. The bushes and hedges are shaped and are clearly looked after. The front of the hotel has a grassed area with some well maintained plants. That area is also another lovely quiet place to sit and has some very comfy chairs. Gym ... I'm not a user of gyms but went to look at it. It looked well equipped to me eg weights, walking / cycling machines etc. Smoking ... I am not a smoker and hate secondary smoke. This hotel has a designated smoking area outside which is well away from tables, chairs and sunbeds etc. They have provided chairs and tables in the space. Credit and thank you to everyone who went there. I just hope the hotel continues to enforce it again when we intend to return in early May again. Music ...The only music that was played outside was on a morning by the Animation team and that was via a portable player / speaker. It was at a level where you didn't necessarily hear it at the the other side of the pool. Again, most people appreciated this. Also 'thanks' to those people who listened to their music via headphones etc ie no one had to complain about the selfish people who play it out loud via their own device Location .. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area and there are not many shops / bars etc near by. A few people said they expected more but we knew exactly what were hoping for and got it in bundles. We found a gem of a place where we could relax and have a great time. Other guests can make a holiday one to remember and once again we met lovely people. It was great to see Colin, Shiela and Frank / Paco again from our previous visit. We also met more guests who added to our holiday experience . They included ....Rod & Theresa, Dave from Wigan who was fantastic on the Karaoke, Adam & his family, all the Home Bargain ladies from the North East, Chelsea & her 'dogs', Pam & Chris plus many many more. Finally ... All being well. If Mayte and Judith are there, we are looking to book again to return on 2 May for 11 nights and it would be great see old and recent guests again. Thank you to everyone at this hotel Mel
We originally wrote a review whilst we were still at the hotel, but now that we are home, we felt we had to write another one because this holiday truly was something special. From the moment we walked into reception, we were welcomed with the warmest smiles and made to feel instantly at home. It honestly felt like we were returning guests rather than first-time visitors. The entire reception team were absolutely outstanding — professional, kind, caring, and always happy to help with anything at all. We have stayed in many hotels over the years, but without question, this was the best reception team we have ever experienced. Every single member of staff was amazing, and even now, sitting at home writing this, we can still picture those wonderful smiles. The restaurant staff, waiters, waitresses, bar staff, housekeeping team — every single person worked so incredibly hard whilst always remaining friendly, cheerful, and approachable. The restaurant manager was constantly smiling and making sure everything ran perfectly. Service was quick, efficient, and always delivered with genuine kindness. The bar staff were lovely and so chatty, making every visit enjoyable. You are not supposed to have favourites, but we definitely did! They helped create such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere every single day. Housekeeping also deserve huge praise. The hotel was spotless throughout our entire stay, and the chambermaids/chambermen were always smiling and so efficient. Now to the two amazing entertainment ladies — what an incredible job they do! We have honestly never met entertainers quite like them. They were bubbly, energetic, welcoming, and constantly encouraged everyone to join in the activities, even when some of us (especially me!) were absolutely terrible at them! Their positivity was infectious and they made the holiday even more memorable. The reason we are already hoping to return in September is because of the people. The staff are what make this hotel so special, and Globales should be incredibly proud of every single one of them. They work tirelessly to make sure guests have the best possible holiday, and it truly shows. Nabella and I had the most wonderful 10 days and met so many lovely people during our stay. As for the hotel itself — it was exceptionally clean throughout. If you are expecting a luxury 5-star hotel with kettles and coffee facilities in the rooms, then this may not be for you, but the rooms do include shampoo, body wash, and a fridge, and irons are available on request. The food was very good with plenty of choice every day. Sometimes it could be slightly lukewarm, but there is a microwave available if needed. There were always fresh meats, salads, fruit, fish, paella, pasta, snacks throughout the day, and breakfast especially offered a huge variety. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks, wine, and beer were all available in the restaurant for all-inclusive guests. Honestly, if you cannot find something you like here, then all-inclusive probably is not for you! The pool area was always clean with plenty of sunbeds available. The bar staff were strict about glasses not leaving the hotel area for health and safety reasons, which we completely understood and appreciated. The limit of three drinks per person also helped keep service moving quickly for everyone. The beach is literally on the doorstep, just down a few steps, which was perfect. Evening entertainment was enjoyable too, especially the nightly bingo with some great cash prizes! If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday with genuinely exceptional staff who make you feel valued every single day, then this hotel is absolutely perfect. Nabella and Jeannette will definitely be back — and we cannot wait to see you all again, meet new friends, and hopefully catch up with old ones too! xx
Returned home yesterday after another great 11 night holiday at this hotel. Please read the reviews that I did in May and October 2025 as nothing has changed for me other than a couple of things. We met up with some people who were also returning eg Frank, Stewart / Elaine and Graham & Dehlia, Ian to name but a few. We also met some new people who were lovely eg the North East ladies and BSA Dave & Barry. The people who did the activities all enjoyed each others company as Mayte and Judith make them so welcome. All the evening entertainments were very good but the Drifters were excellent. All the bar staff are so friendly but a special mention to Gemma & Marc. Victor runs a very efficient friendly bar. All the other staff are a credit to the Manager but I would like to say a huge thanks to Gisela and Marina on reception who went way beyond the norm to help us when my wife's handbag was lost for around 12 hrs. All being well we look forward to returning in the Autumn. PS If Gemma ( from May 2025) reads this.... I did better this time round.
Hotel is in a good location everything within walking distance also regular bus service to Ciutadella Disappointed we were on the ground floor no view from the balcony only a hedge to look at One of our rooms had problems with the plumbing shower didn’t drain toilet wouldn’t flush Food was very much the same every day not a great deal of choice we were all inclusive but ate out on most days All in all Hotel was very clean we were only there for 4 days but sadly wouldn’t return I would recommend TUI for a package deal well organised and well informed from start to finish
It’s a nice little hotel in a quiet residential area. There is no allocated parking, so if you hire a car it can be a little difficult at times to park. The check in was swift, however we were not allowed to pay the deposit for the safe when we checked in, we had to return later to do that, which seemed long winded to me. The food was average at best with not a great selection. At one meal I found a coarse, black hair in my risotto which I found incredibly grim. We ate out for a lot of our evening meals. The pool area was clean and well kept. Sun bed wars do happen. It was very hot while we were there so a lot of us adults would sit with our legs in the children’s pool. The lifeguard told my husband off for having a beer while doing this. There was another large group there, who were celebrating a big birthday, who got drunk daily and were very loud, and would jump and bomb into the main pool but that was absolutely fine. Our room was small. We had problems with the lighting in the room for the whole of our stay. The bed side tables are supposed to light up, we only found that out because my husband turned over in bed and his started flashing then the main lights went out. They were supposed to fix it, but they never did. Our kettle blew too, so maybe it was something wrong with the room. Our floors weren’t particularly clean either. There was a lot of fluff and dust around the edges. We like to go to the beach, so they did get sandy but they never appeared to be swept properly. One day the cleaner didn’t leave us any hand towels so we asked her for some, the way she reacted anyone would have thought we were asking her to give us her life’s savings. We love Menorca, we go almost every year but we won’t return to this hotel, nor would we recommend it. There are a lot better ones out there for a similar price.
