Sa Barrera

Nice beach nestled in bay - hotel overlooks this from terrace. The atmosphere was quiet, which I was looking for and it was off season. However, I’m not sure if this meant they weren’t keeping up with the rooms in the way they normally would. My room was OK - though when I arrived there was an ashtray with cigarette butts left on the balcony - I’m a non smoker and it didn’t convince me they had done a proper clean- not to mention what when after a hot shower the balcony doors steamed up and revealed some previous finger drawings of a phallic nature on the glass! The hot water went in my room, but they fixed it quickly. On the third day, my towel was pretty damp and I had to request it to be replaced and room turned down as no one had come day before (which meant I also had to go down and ask for toilet roll). The clean was better when they came, and amenities replaced. Breakfast was nice and staff were really pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. I ate at the hotel one dinner - squid which was not great, and a pizza which was delicious. A mixed bag - for an adult only hotel in such a nice location with great staff it has real potential to be wonderful, but just a bit rough around the edges in terms of cleanliness and finesse.

It was a ok hotel for the night for our Cami de cavalls trip! Room was of a good size, not that clean unfortunately, couple of coffee rings and the bathroom wasn't perfect, however the Staff were lovely and friendly Breakfast is minimal and basic. But it did the job for us for 1 night

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the long May bank holiday weekend and had an amazing time. The hotel is quite funky and I loved the decor in reception. The place is immaculate. Our room was a pool view room and it was lovely. So clean and had everything we needed. The pool area was also so clean and so relaxing. 2 minutes to the beach, the steps back up are a killer but worth it! The town itself is so lovely with a supermarket nearby and lovely tapas down the street and also a restaurant nearby. Hotel serves food also which was lovely! I cannot fault the staff at all. Roberto, although quiet, is a lovely man and nothing is too much trouble, he makes a mean Negroni too!! There is also a lovely blonde girl on reception but I can’t remember her name, she was so helpful of where we should go for dinner or drinks. Club Menorca for dinner is a must just for the scenery. Also Cova D’en Xoroi is a must for the sunset! Stunning! We will definitely be back soon and can also see us coming back here for a long time to come. Love love this adult hotel. Came here in 2017 and was here again this year. It is such a lovely quaint hotel. It’s a 3 star but such a lovely place. The rooms are small but enough for you to move around in. Big bed, tv, bathroom with a shower, fridge and wardrobe and an outside balcony. It also comes with air conditioning which is a godsend. The staff at pleasant, friendly, always with a smile. Breakfast is a must and very delicious. Outside swimming pool with sun loungers. You are right in Cala N Porter about 10 min walk to the beach and the restaurants. Well worth to stay for peace and quiet and to relax.

The room was just the right size, multiple pillows and lovely air conditioning. There was also a balcony which was a bonus. Lovely polite staff and an amazing buffet breakfast with a perfect sea view. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back here again.
