Sa Barrera

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the long May bank holiday weekend and had an amazing time. The hotel is quite funky and I loved the decor in reception. The place is immaculate. Our room was a pool view room and it was lovely. So clean and had everything we needed. The pool area was also so clean and so relaxing. 2 minutes to the beach, the steps back up are a killer but worth it! The town itself is so lovely with a supermarket nearby and lovely tapas down the street and also a restaurant nearby. Hotel serves food also which was lovely! I cannot fault the staff at all. Roberto, although quiet, is a lovely man and nothing is too much trouble, he makes a mean Negroni too!! There is also a lovely blonde girl on reception but I can’t remember her name, she was so helpful of where we should go for dinner or drinks. Club Menorca for dinner is a must just for the scenery. Also Cova D’en Xoroi is a must for the sunset! Stunning! We will definitely be back soon and can also see us coming back here for a long time to come. Love love this adult hotel. Came here in 2017 and was here again this year. It is such a lovely quaint hotel. It’s a 3 star but such a lovely place. The rooms are small but enough for you to move around in. Big bed, tv, bathroom with a shower, fridge and wardrobe and an outside balcony. It also comes with air conditioning which is a godsend. The staff at pleasant, friendly, always with a smile. Breakfast is a must and very delicious. Outside swimming pool with sun loungers. You are right in Cala N Porter about 10 min walk to the beach and the restaurants. Well worth to stay for peace and quiet and to relax.

The room was just the right size, multiple pillows and lovely air conditioning. There was also a balcony which was a bonus. Lovely polite staff and an amazing buffet breakfast with a perfect sea view. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back here again.

We visit Menorca each year to catch up with family and due to them moving we needed a hotel closer to them. I found this fabulous little hotel online and we have just returned after a wonderful visit. I’m so pleased we chose this place. This is a small family run hotel set on the edge of Cala n Porter overlooking the beach and bay, it’s close to all the resorts bars and restaurants but quiet and tranquil within the property. The pool view room we had was spotless, fantastic views over the countryside beyond and the sunsets. The room was a good size, plenty of hanging space, tea and coffee in the room. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. There is a safe in the room at a small extra cost. The outside space was well cared for, has a pretty garden around the pool area and the terraced area overlooking the bay - the hotel restaurant has tables here too. There was never a problem getting a sun lounger, towels are also available at a small extra cost. We mainly had the continental breakfast which had plenty of choice and staff were happy to make a toasted sandwich at lunch. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. This is a real little gem of a place, don’t let three stars put you off- they really go that extra mile. We will definitely return

Absolutely charming hotel from the moment you walk through the entrance doors. Everything we experienced exceeded our expectations.  What you see really is what you get, a truly delightful and a peaceful oasis. Rooms, food and views are all great. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff made such a difference to our holiday experience.  Looking forward to our return in Summer '24.
