Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island

We are coming to the end of a weeks stay at the Hilton Yas Island. We felt that this 5 star all inclusive offers excellent value for money. Despite not being ultra all inclusive we have found the food and drink selection to be excellent. All members of staff we have engaged with have been friendly and attentive. I want to give extra acknowledgement to Waruna who is one of the servers around the pool. He is very attentive, friendly and quick with our orders. The rooms are large, smart and functional, big enough for our family of 3. Having a separate bath and shower is a nice touch. Our only negative is that the pool can get a little busy and is smaller than expected (some clever angles in the marketing picture.) Overall we have enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider a return visit.

The Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island is, without question, one of our favourite Hiltons in the world — and we’ve stayed at many! It’s the perfect resort for families, and we’ve loved it so much that we’ve visited three times in the past twelve months. We were planning something special for my daughter’s 10th birthday and, despite considering countless destinations, we ended up right back here — her absolute favourite place! Location, location, location: You simply can’t beat it. With unlimited access to all the Yas Island theme parks, it’s a dream for families. We’ve now done them all several times and still never get bored. This time we finally tried Yas Waterworld, which we’d skipped before — and wow, were we wrong! It’s now my six-year-old’s favourite park of all. The resort itself: Beautiful pools, beach access, a fantastic kids’ club, and a prime spot within walking distance of restaurants and bars. The complimentary shuttle makes it easy to reach the parks and Yas Mall — you honestly never need to leave Yas Island if you don’t want to. Exceptional service: From the moment you step out of your taxi, you’re treated like royalty. Every team member — from front desk and pool staff to restaurant and executive lounge teams — radiates warmth and genuine care. I even received WhatsApp messages throughout our stay checking if there was anything more they could do to make it special. Diamond recognition: As a Hilton Diamond member for 10 years, I can say this hotel truly goes above and beyond. Each visit, we’ve been upgraded from a standard room to a junior suite, and even this time — when fully booked — they moved us mid-stay once a suite became available. Amazing hospitality! The Executive Lounge: This team is phenomenal and a big reason we keep coming back. They remember our family each visit and went above and beyond for my daughter’s birthday — decorating our room with balloons and surprising her with a cake. Those thoughtful touches make memories for a lifetime. The UFC takeover! As if our stay couldn’t get better, the UFC athletes were staying at the hotel during our visit! My husband was thrilled to meet and snap photos with some of his favourites. The hotel’s welcome celebration today created an electric atmosphere — such an exciting bonus! We love this hotel so much that we’ve already booked our next stay for February, and we’re even considering spending New Year’s Eve here too. We stayed for 11 days as a family of 4 (2 children aged 11 and 9). We were on an all inclusive board basis. The hotel automatically included free park passes for each day of our stay to the Yas Island Theme parks which included Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros World, Yas Seaworld and Ferrari World. To start, the park passes are a massive incentive! The hotel itself was outstanding on every level. Staff were excellent, helpful friendly and kind. So professional in everything they do. Customer service at its best. We were looked after day and night by the wonderful staff. The hotel is beautiful inside and out, lovely rooms with fab amenities. Beautifully kept grounds. The pool was lovely and the sun loungers very comfortable. The food was delicious at every meal. The food not only looked good but actually tasted amazing too. In the past, some resorts have food that looks good but is let down on taste and quality. Not here. Almost everything we tried was delicious and the quality was undeniable. We are not really alcohol drinkers so can't comment too much on these but we did have a couple of peroni beers and some Rose wine which was included and lovely. The fresh juices and mocktails were fab as were the different fruit teas and ice coffee we tried. The pool bar served beautiful food on the days when we had lunch there. Steak kebabs were amazing! The location is perfect for exploring the parks, all within 10 minutes on the free shuttle buses that run every 15 minutes. We had a very busy holiday at the parks and didnt see too much of Abu Dhabi itself away from Yas Island but we would absolutely return to explore more. This hotel was outstanding overall and even if the parks are not for you, the location was perfect for the Waterfront area and Yas Mall. We would love to return for a repeat visit. I want to start this review by being completely honest. In the past, I have had very poor experiences with Hilton hotels. My last two stays, both in Jordan, were particularly disappointing, to the point where I had started to lose trust in the Hilton brand altogether. So when we booked Hilton Yas Island, Abu Dhabi I really wasn’t expecting much. However, from the moment we arrived, this hotel completely turned things around for us. It has honestly changed the way I see Hilton, and I can say without hesitation that this has been one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The service from the moment we checked in was highly professional and welcoming. The staff were attentive, warm, and genuinely eager to make us feel comfortable. Travelling as a family, it was important to us that we had connecting rooms so that our children were close by, and the hotel made sure this was arranged smoothly without any issues. That alone gave us peace of mind. But then came the biggest surprise. To celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and also my birthday, the hotel had gone the extra mile to decorate our rooms. Not only was it done beautifully, but also thoughtfully — one room decorated for our anniversary, the other decorated for my birthday. It was so well-presented, tasteful, and special that we were both genuinely taken aback. These personal touches made us feel not just like guests, but like valued individuals whose celebrations mattered. It was a wonderful start to our stay and immediately set Hilton Yas Island apart from previous experiences. Throughout our time at the hotel, every single member of staff has been incredible. Everywhere you go, people greet you with a smile and a hello. There is such a genuine sense of warmth here, you don’t feel like you’re just another guest passing through, you feel recognised and cared for. The attention to detail and the effort made to ensure everything is just right is clear in every interaction. Nothing feels like too much trouble. Another highlight was being invited to dinner at the hotel restaurant by the management. This was a lovely gesture and a reflection of how attentive and guest-focused the leadership here is. The meal itself was excellent, but it was the thought and hospitality behind the invitation that really stood out to us. It reinforced the feeling that we were being truly looked after during our stay. The facilities themselves are excellent, but it’s the people who make this hotel what it is. The professionalism, kindness, and enthusiasm of the staff have made our stay genuinely memorable. They seem to take real pride in their work and in making guests happy, and that shines through in everything they do. To put it simply, this experience has completely changed my opinion of Hilton. After two very negative stays elsewhere, I wasn’t sure I’d ever book with Hilton again. But Hilton Yas Island shown me what the Hilton brand can be when it is at its best. If it were possible, I would give this hotel 1000%. It has exceeded all of our expectations, and I would not hesitate for a second to return. I highly, highly recommend Hilton Yas Island Hotel to anyone considering a stay here. Whether you are visiting for a special occasion or just a family trip, you will be looked after with true professionalism and warmth. Breakfast at Graphos was superb. Fe assisted me with my orders and was very courteous. I felt at home. The food in the venue was also varied so I was not bored.
