Skvělý hotel a personál. Všichni milí, zvláště Glenys 😊. Hotel ma skvělé vybavení, výborná kuchyně. Všude čisto, úklid perfektní. Krásná soukromá pláž, na střeše bazén. Nic nám nechybělo. Všude po hotelu k dispozici pitná voda. Hhhhhhhh

I stayed at this Voco two years ago and left genuinely impressed. I returned with my pregnant wife — it was her birthday — and our dog, expecting the same standard. What I experienced was a far cry from our previous visit. The stay began badly and never recovered. Music from clubs directly opposite the hotel boomed into our room until well past 3:00 AM, leaving my pregnant wife with barely any sleep. We were never warned — despite this clearly being a regular occurrence on that strip. A hotel has an obligation to disclose known, predictable disruptions to guests at the time of booking or at check-in. Failing to do so, particularly when a pregnant guest is involved, is simply not acceptable. Moreover, ahead of arrival, I emailed and called to arrange extra pillows for my wife’s pregnancy, a water bowl for our dog. The hotel confirmed all of this in writing, even adding that they would include a special birthday gesture. I was thinking that the hotel service is just as i recalled and was looking forward to an enjoyable stay. Upon arrival: nothing. No pillows, no bowl, no acknowledgement. Disappointing a pregnant woman on her birthday after written confirmation of arrangements is not a minor oversight — it is a failure of basic guest care. A Marriott Bonvoy establishment at this tier simply would not operate this way. Breakfast compounded things further. Despite requesting a shaded table, we waited under the sun while shaded spots sat empty — all due to a simple failure of communication between staff. We then waited 30–45 minutes for food and, most remarkably, 30 minutes for a coffee. This would be poor in a 3-star property, let alone a 5-star one. The one silver lining of the entire stay was Hani from the valet team — responsive and efficient. The only silver lining. As a Gold IHG One Rewards member (recently Platinum), I have stayed at many IHG properties. This was the most disappointing experience I have had. We are in a period of regional uncertainty where Dubai hotels are competing hard for every guest — and yet service here has gone south. The fact is hardware failure (eg: only one lift was working for most of the stay) is acceptable, thins break down outside of the management’s control. But the software part is the service quality, especially to loyal brand ambassadors, that cannot fail and worse still to fail across multiple areas. I will not be returning, and I am reconsidering my broader relationship with IHG as a result.
