BEST WESTERN Redondo Beach Galleria Inn

Close enough to get to the international boardwalk but far enough to get a good value. There were plenty of shops and places to dine in the immediate area.

Were nice place. Nice and calm surroundings. Fine rooms and god service from staff. Easy access to the parking-lot. my whole family enjoyed the our stay over four nights.

Room was not the best out of many BW I have stayed at. The beds were hard and not comfortable at all. Toilet was low, I mean low! Only cool feature was the touch screen mirror. Our room was next to the loud vending machines which woke me up a few times during the night. We did get complementary breakfast which was a plus as well.

This is a budget hotel for people who are waiting to catch a flight at LAX or in town for a couple of nights. Don't expect anything more unless you are willing to pay much more for it. With that in mind, I have to say that the rooms were super clean and well-stocked in terms of toiletry products, with some great choices in a really nice Argan oil line. The cleaning staff was very nice, as was the reception. The breakfast was VERY complete and varied, with a yogurt machine, a neat waffle maker, large granola and cereal assortment and good coffee. We were pleasantly surprised. Location-wise, there is not a lot in the immediate area within walking distance, but mostly everyone is going to have a car so that should be no problem. The beach is a five-minute ride and a 45-minute walk away. I did that walk one day so, personally, I would recommend going only west on Artesia, toward the ocean, and avoid the neighborhood due east, which looks okay but may get worse as you walk east. On the other hand, it just gets nicer and nicer as you walk west. All in all, I feel like the people who own and run the hotel have a vision and are doing a great job. I wanted to take the time to say that I see and appreciate that. Happy New Year!

I score this hotel visit a zero! after a very long drive that made for a later check in, we were turned away. The reason given was 'their computer was down' This despite the fact we were pre booked and had our confirmation with us. At a minimum, they could have pulled out a pen and paper, noted the information and given us our room. Instead, we scrambled to find another hotel. It gets better (not really). We were charged FULL PRICE because apparently it was too late to cancel our room. The experience reminded me of a sienfeld episode, except this experience wasn't funny.
