Horrible experience — DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was extremely dirty and unsanitary. There were bugs and what appeared to be fleas in the room. The sheets were filthy, with visible blood stains and hair packed underneath them. The towels were also dirty and had lipstick stains on them. The property itself is very old and clearly not maintained. Everything felt worn down and unclean, making it uncomfortable and unsafe to stay. After reporting the bugs, the manager refused to refund the stay. They only agreed to cancel the remaining nights, even though the room conditions were unacceptable from the start. This place should not be in business in its current condition. I strongly recommend booking elsewhere and saving yourself the stress and disappointment. Brittney was very nice, but that didn’t help.

I stayed in Sonesta ES in Fountain Valley for the last four months. I like this facility very much. The features I like are 1. Very clean facility 2. Very quite and safe location 3. Relatively small sized building gave me a feeling that I am at my second home. 4. Very caring Management team and employees. I know all the management team members Lance, Jeffrey, Mario, Katalina and Alex and all other staff members Mark Sandoval, Brittney, Charlenna, Maria, James and Jose. There commitment to customer care is second to none. When they are around, I felt I am in good hands. During my stay at Sonesta ES Fountain Valley, I had an emergency situation. I am diabetic person. I went to diabetic coma. Suddenly I become unconscious. Mark Sandoval gave me CPR immediately and called Paramedics. He saved me from a life and death situation. I am very grateful to Mark in particular and every staff in general. Sonesta ES, Fountain Valley is a great place to stay. I will recommend this facility for anyone without reservation.

This hotel really ruined our family trip. We booked it for 10 days to enjoy orange county and surrounding. On our 1st day while kids watching TV a big spider walked on my daughter's feet and both kids were screaming and crying all night with no sleep. Called the manager on the morning and he was kind enough to move us to a different room. We thought ok it is now time to start enjoying our trip, but unfortunately blood stain on the pillow, wear and tear furniture that made it hard to set on. And the big shock was a marjiuna smell in what advertised as non smoking building and it stayed for all the 9 night coming from the ac vent which caused my daughter allergy to keep her awake all night. OMG at this point we were really tired of spending most of our time calling and dealing with this issue. We decide to just leave and find another hotel but since it was a very high season and all hotels almost full, the price at this point was triple to book any other last min. Hotel Will never recommend this hotel for a family trip Poor breakfast options and the same buffet for 10 days . Dirty pool that never get cleaned. The only good point there is the front desk team that was always nice and trying to help but they can't do anything about the rooms or smell

If you’re looking for a place that is freeway close, this is it! You can see, hear, smell, and even feel the speeding traffic. Hope you’re not a light sleeper. It wasn’t especially clean either. Breakfast is included, but hurry, because it’s only available until 9:00. It is nice to have a full-sized fridge, oven, and dishwasher. Having two bedrooms was extremely beneficial, and each room has a TV. The shower head was mounted to the wall, and my female fellow-travelers were rather unhappy. The prices are competitive. But, there are better places for the money, even if it costs you a bit more.

We stayed here for a baseball tournament and this was one of the worst hotels I've ever experienced. We were forced to stay here by the tournament organizers and now I know why. The room was absolutey filthy to the point of not wanting to take off our shoes while inside. The rooms smelled of stale smoke and animal urine. We checked in and were told the internet wouldn't work in our specific room. A day or so later we had a maintence man come and change out our carbon monoxide detector because it was expired in 2020 and was going off. The same day we found a roach in one of the bedrooms but were told there were no free rooms to move us to even tho online they showed availability. The bathrooms were dirty and bugs in the tub. I could go on and on. The room was definitely big enough for our family of 5 but that was basically the only positive.
