AC Hotel by Marriott Miami Aventura

Miami used to be home, but I relocated to Atlanta seven years ago for work. Even so, I return often since my entire family is still here. Over the years, I’ve stayed at places like the Marriott Harbor and JW Marriott Turnberry, but I’ve now found my new home away from home: AC Hotel Aventura. I first stayed one night over Thanksgiving, choosing the AC Hotel simply because I wanted to be close to my family’s house for dinner. I was completely amazed by everything, the service, the views of my old neighborhood, and the genuine at-home atmosphere. Two weeks later, on my second visit, the moment I stepped into the lobby, Mohamed greeted me by name. That was the moment I knew this is it. I will never stay anywhere else. I’m already on my third visit since Thanksgiving. Thank you, Mohamed, for making me feel truly right at home. Unforgettable experience.

I have to say the staff we encountered at the front desk were not at all courteous. Also, the one night we stopped for a drink, the bar tender decided we did not deserve her attention. Our room however was clean although missed some amenities after house keeping was done. Also, the air conditioner fan was very loud. On the positive the hotel has a nice lobby and the location is walking distance from several nice restaurants, which are right across the street.

They have staff that are pro Palestinians, I called the manger and did not get an answer, they must be evaluating what their move will be , lest hope it wise

I had an amazing experience during my 6-night stay at the AC Aventura. Top of my list was Diego, who is an exceptional, kind and helpful employee - although everyone at the desk was great, including Afifa (apologies if I've misspelled). Diego really went out of his way to help me receive a number of small packages throughout (and even after) my stay and truly went above and beyond. The hotel is fortunate to have him in a leadership role there! Pros: I had a room on the 9th floor overlooking the office building across the street and some nearby streets/views. It was lovely, and quiet. The room's design is perfect for me - minimalist, highly functional walk in shower, firm bed. I slept well! Elevators were plentiful and fast. The housekeeping team was phenomenal, and cleaned daily when requested. The public spaces are great and diverse (comfy chairs + tables w chairs), perfect for a short meeting or doing work in the lobby. I was attending a conference at a more expensive Marriott property ~a mile away, and had no problems getting an Uber quickly to get there in the mornings/back in the evenings. Areas for improvement: $25 for breakfast seemed steep, although I admit I did not have it (there is a Starbucks right across the street). I would also like to see more drawer space/shelves in the room - there was very little space to put anything away (for those of us who prefer to unpack for a long trip) other than the small drawer near the door. I will definitely return - and once again, leave my highest praise for Diego and the team!

Stayed here for 2 nights as a family of four. Chose it due to the location - near the Aventura Mall - for food options and the Hard Rock Stadium - as seeing a concert there. Safe & clean area. Parking was always available either in lot in front of hotel or their 3 story ramp - just needed to pay $30/night and display a parking pass on the dash. Room was pretty small for four of us - but doable. Would stay here again and recommend to others going to the Stadium or wanting to stay a bit out of the Miami Beach area.
