Excellent accommodation , good food , attentive and friendly staff , lots of things to do or chill at the side of the pool

Our stay at RIU was absolutely incredible! From the moment we checked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless, stylish, and comfortable, offering a great night's sleep. the food was delicious and had a great variety of options. Perfect location to relax , I will definitely return during my next vacation !!!

Relaxing week stay after a tour of Sri Lanka. Our tour operator had stated I was allergic to cotton by mistake. The allergy is to wool but the hotel took great care to make sure everything was suitable before we checked in. It was our 35th wedding anniversay while we were there and the hotel made it really special. The receptionist Nadee arranged a lovely table reservation at the Asian restaurant with a bottle of sparkling wine and a special cake. All the staff were great and Roshan in the restaurant was very informative of the Sri Lanka new year and the birth of the Buddah. He was also very attentive and made us feel special. The food was great and varied. We were given a free upgrade to a junior suite with a sea view. The room was lovely and spacious. The housekeeper created some lovely animals with towels. The pools were very large with great views of the beach. We had a great time and would definately return.

This was our second visit to Hotel Riu Sri Lanka, and once again it was an amazing experience. We traveled with our 1.5-year-old baby, and everything was very well arranged and comfortable for families. The hotel staff were friendly and caring throughout our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade, which made our stay even more relaxing with the baby. The facilities were excellent, clean, and well maintained. Food and drinks were great with plenty of variety and quality. Overall, we had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation in Sri Lanka!

Very good location with easy access to nearby places. Food and beverages were excellent, and the pool area and events were enjoyable. Nice welcome from the staff and overall good service. Room cleanliness can be improved a bit. Overall, worth the price and a satisfying stay
