The Hey Hotel

We stayed at the adjacent Guest House.It was quite utilitarian but very clean and roomy and had everything necessary. The water worked fine. It was not hot so we didn't need A/C. Expensive but just like every Swiss hotel.

Great Location , staff are very kind and helpful , spacious room with comfortable bed ( booked standard double room ) , the luggage holding service was a great feature , breakfast buffet had plenty options. Overall lovely stay

We booked a room at the Hey Hotel with A/C but upon showing up we’re placed at “the guesthouse.” It is in a different building and had no A/C. The room was unbearably hot. The front desk said they were full and there was nothing they could do about. No sort of compensation was offered even though we paid for A/C. The shower was crazy and would randomly change temperatures from ice cold to scalding hot every 10 seconds. We tried to open the windows and bugs started swarming in the room. All that being said, we liked the location. And that’s about it.

While the Hey Hotel Interlaken has a fantastic central location and friendly staff, our recent family stay was marred by a number of issues that made it feel like poor value for money. Our family room was an acceptable size, but the bathroom was unacceptably small for four people. The facilities were also in a poor state of repair. The shower function was improper, requiring you to constantly hold the showerhead in place while showering just to be able to wash. When we called to complain, someone was sent to the room, but no action was taken to actually fix the problem. Furthermore, the overall condition of the bathroom was quite poor (see attached pictures). Tile paint peeling off, which not only looked unsightly but also made the entire space feel unhygienic. Given the high cost of our stay, these issues were particularly disappointing. Although the central location is a definite plus, the poor state of the bathroom and the lack of a resolution to the problems meant that we felt the experience did not justify the price.

Very nice hotel. Fantastic location right on the “main street.” Two grocery stores near by. 10/10 to Fabio who gave us ice to put in our chocolate bags. He went beyond the call of duty. Also, Andrea was so nice and let us put some chocolates in the fridge. Sandra was kind too. Honestly though it was Fabio was the best!!!
