La Solaya Khao Lak

Pros Lovely large clean rooms Excellent food and fantastic breakfast All the staff are lovely Great location for nearby night market and loads of local bars and restaurants Minor Cons Lack of enclosed storage in standard rooms, no drawers No full length mirror Major Con The biggest issue for us was the loud club music being blasted out over the main pool area all day. This completely ruined the peaceful atmosphere described in the hotels own introduction. We spoke to several other guests and nobody liked it at all There is also a smaller sea front pool but this also had club music from the bar and was usually full of kids playing ball games etc. There was no peace to be found.

We stayed at the La Solaya for two weeks. The warm welcome, the friendly personnel and Jan were excellent hosts. The hotel is everything you want on a holiday. Stylish rooms, always excellently cleaned snd a strong touch to service. Excellent pool areas, a great restaurant with meals for everyone and the special events such as the Claws & Coals rounded the experience. We would come again and recommend to anyone coming to Khao Lak.

มาพักที่นี่ประทับใจมากๆ ทั้งความสวยงามของสถานที่และการบริการของพนักงาน ที่นี่เป็นอีกหนึ่งโรงแรมที่มีจุดชมพระอาทิตย์ตกที่สวยที่สุดในเขาหลัก พื้นที่ภายในโรงแรมกว้างขวาง ร่มรื่น เด็กๆ วิ่งเล่นกันได้สบาย มีครบทั้งวิวภูเขา และทะเล บรรยากาศดีมาก - ที่พักเป็นวิลล่าสไตล์ไทยโมเดิร์น มีความเป็นไทย แต่ยังคงความทันสมัยการตกแต่งเป็นโทนเขียวครีม สะอาดตา บ้านเราพัก Family Villa ห้องกว้างมาก แบ่งเป็นสัดส่วน เตียงนุ่มนอนสบาย และมีเตียง 2 ชั้น สำหรับเด็ก มีห้องน้ำ และห้องอาบน้ำแยกกัน มีอ่างอาบน้ำให้แช่ผ่อนคลาย สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครัน - ที่นี่มีสระว่ายน้ำถึง 3 สระ ไฮไลท์ คือสระที่เป็น Infinity Pool ที่หน้าหาด สระใหญ่มองเห็นวิวทะเลแบบเต็มตา ส่วนอีก 2 สระ ก็สวยไม่แพ้กัน แถมมีเครื่องเล่นเป่าลมให้เด็กๆ ได้ปล่อยพลัง - มี Sol Bar เป็นบาร์ริมทะเลที่วิวสวยมาก แช่น้ำ จิบค็อกเทลชมวิว Sunset คือที่สุด - มีห้องอาหาร Sol Mare ห้องอาหารริมทะเล ที่มีทั้งโซน Indoor และ Out Door อาหารอร่อย และหลากหลาย มีทั้งไทย ยุโรป และญี่ปุ่น 🔸 อาหารเช้าเป็นบุฟเฟ่ต์ไลน์อาหารเยอะมาก 🔸 อาหารกลางวัน สั่งเป็นพิซซ่า และ อาหารจานเดียว อร่อยทุกเมนู 🔸 มื้อเย็นบุฟเฟ่ต์ ได้ลอง Claws & Coals The Ultimate Josper Grill & Andaman Seafood Buffet เป็นบุฟเฟต์ซีฟู้ด และกริลล์ระดับพรีเมียม ที่นี่ใช้เตาระดับโลกอย่าง Josper Grill มีทั้งเนื้อญี่ปุ่น, เนื้อออสเตรเลีย, ขาปูอลาสก้า, ล็อบสเตอร์, กุ้งมังกร ,อาหารญี่ปุ่น และห้องขนมหวานสุดอลังการ และอร่อยมากๆ - มี Club Stella ที่เป็นห้องเกมส์ มีทั้งบอร์ดเกมส์, โต๊ะพลู และตู้เกมส์ ช่วงบ่ายใน Club มี Summer Sweet เป็นของหวาน และเครื่องดื่มให้ทานแบบไม่อั้น 2 ชั่วโมงเต็ม - พักที่นี่เราสามารถไปใช้บริการ Kid Club ที่ La Flora ได้ด้วย ลูกสาวชอบมากค่ะ -มีบริการจักรยานให้ปั่นริมหาด - มุมถ่ายรูปสวยๆเยอะมาก เป็นอีกหนึ่งโรงแรมในโซนเขาหลักที่ประใจมากๆ

We have just a a wonderful 2 weeks at La Solaya and will give my review based our my experience Check in Quick and easy, we received a welcome drink & cold towel. AP downloaded to our phones which gave us access to housekeeping, in dining menu, spa etc. Very easy to use. Room We had a double deluxe room, the decor was beautiful & very relaxing. Beds & pillows very comfortable. 4 bottles of water provided daily along with Starbucks pods, sugar etc and a small carton on milk (which i thought was a lovely touch) Kettle also provided. Full size fridge freezer (they do have goodies in but you have to pay for these) They left two little snacks each day. Bathroom was great, good lighting, fantastic power shower and even a decent hair dryer. The only thing I didn't like was the open wardrobe aspect, no doors, so all your clothes are on show and absolutely NO storage. I would like to make a special mention to Jan (front desk) who managed to find two old drawers for me & went above & beyond, this may not bother some but for me due to the small space I like everything tidy & hidden away. TV had an excellent selection of channels in you got caught out by a thunderstorm. The grounds and lush and very well kept. Club Stella, absolutely great for kids and the do have a coffee shop and cake in there. Sunbeds are large & have very comfy padding. No towel cards (again a bonus) just visit the towel hut and take what you need. 3 pools, all great with a lovely view from the infinity pool. Does say adults only but didn't look like this was enforced. So expect kids splashing about although this didn't bother me but for some I assume it would. The restaurant had and excellent variety for breakfast. Loved that a barista made your coffee in the morning instead of a coffee machine. My only complaint is the food wasn't very hot so I stuck to a freshly cooked omelette. We only had room service once and never again. The food arrived uncovered & by the time it reached us it was cold. Cost approx £35 but we didn't complain, we should have but we were tired and hungry so didn't want to wait again. We ate once in the evening at the hotel and again it wasn't great for the £50 we paid. Reception staff, always happy & super friendly. The bar at night had no atmosphere, one night we were the only ones in there but this may be due to low season. Would we return, 100% & we are already planning to go back in 2026. The holiday was very relaxing. Thank you to all the wonderful staff from room 5316.
