The Norm Collection Door'a

It looked like it was a promising hotel, but a 5* standard is severely lacking and overall wouldn’t recommend a stay at this hotel. Whilst not the worst, it promises a lot and under delivers quite a bit. 1. Service We had a mixed experience with staff, for example the beach towel lady and house keeping are super friendly and lovely. I would say for the rest of the staff, service is OK. Often it was quite unhelpful and unresponsive, for example asking if they had any recommendations for food, they responded with a shrugged off ‘no’ and general disinterest. 2. Rooms The room is quite spacious and good space for two people but would say upon entering the first night- the room was dusty and the bathroom had a rogue wet patch that didn’t dry until the next day 3. Amenities I think the hotel really lacks here- small things like handwash not topped up in rooms. It took about 3-4 calls to get some new pillows to the room. Had requested a feathered one and it took multiple calls for them to say they don’t have one (which is fine but it shouldn’t take so long to communicate with multiple calls and no conversation between staff) I would also say the gym is quite small and doesn’t have too many options. 4. Food Massive let down- menu often fails to align to what is served in real life. For example the grilled sea bass with new potatoes- it came with one small potato. Same with the beef steak, it was slithers of vegetable with one broccoli and a very chewy and fatty (thin) steak. Had to leave the hotel to find some good food, which is disappointing considering it’s an all inclusive. Staff aren’t always well equipped to making drinks they offer, for example an ice coffee. Also very unhelpful that the Turkish à la carte restaurant is only open on Sundays and isn’t advertised as that (I also wouldn’t consider the other ones as good à la cartes at all) 5. Activities It’s quite difficult to understand how to book or know what’s going on in the hotel. For example, we’ve been given the programming of the hotel half way through our stay, which was sent at 14:53 on WhatsApp so that means most of the activities were done and we didn’t know. As previously mentioned, it was a mixed experience of talking to staff about what’s helpful or what’s going on. 7. Spa Would say it was good experience and staff were very friendly and helpful.

I have not had search and experience in travelling before. This trip to Norm Collection was perfect. The staff are so welcoming and the whole hotel experience was 5 Star. I totally recommend

Where do I even start.. for such a low price I experienced a hotel and start that I would have paid 10x more for.. from start to finish the constant attention to detail and there customers was honourable. The food could be a little more seasoned but there is always something you can get that is beautiful.. I would like to give a biggg thank you too mehmet bilal & nergiz down at the beach bar and restaurants what an (bilal makes the best cocktails as for a bila special and you will see) thank you! Would highly recommend and thank you!! I will be back

Very clean hotel, staff very lovely and friendly.. helped with every request that we made especially in the restaurants… a big shout out to Turan and Nergiz they were amazing and if you’re looking for a good cocktail at the beach ask for Mehmet Bilal

We stayed at The Norm Collection Door’a Bodrum for 5 days and it was really exceptional. From the start everything felt nice and welcoming. The staff were all very kind and always trying to help. The food was good and the service was top notch honestly. When we arrived they even upgraded our room because it was my son’s birthday. In our room there was a cake and some wine waiting for us, which was such a nice surprise. It made the moment feel really special for our family. The kids club was amazing. Dilan and her team were so good with the kids, like really patient and fun, they go out of their way to make children happy. My son really enjoyed it there and always wanted to go back. In the main restaurant Ibrahim the supervisor was very friendly and my son liked him a lot. He always made sure we were okay during meals. Mevlüt also was very kind and helpful. There were many other staff too but I did not get all their names, still they were all good. We also kept going to the patisserie area. There was this lady with short blonde hair who was always there. She always smiles and serves with such a happy attitude, we really liked her. My boys loved their gelato and my favorite was the baclava.  The spa was also one of the best parts. Vira and Idura gave us a hammam experience that was really relaxing and very well done. We felt so refreshed after, it was honestly one of the highlights of the trip. We never felt relaxed we can never get this experience in London.  We also spoke with some of the hotel managers and they were all helpful. A special thank you to Arzu, the guest relations manager, she really went beyond expectations. We had a problem in Bodrum town where we got scammed in a restaurant. She actually helped us directly and even drove my husband back there to sort it out and we got a refund, we were really thankful for that. Even with that small bad experience outside, our holiday was still amazing overall. We really enjoyed everything and we wish we stayed longer. We will for sure come back next year. I hope more people book this resort because they really deserve it.
