We visited XO CA mid May with our 4 y/o and she absolutely loved it. Key highlights (kids): - Swim lessons with Irina. Top professional; we booked lessons with her for each day (50 mins’) and our little one made a great progress: from 0 to being able to swim with no support for 5 sec’+ (after just 4 lessons, 50 mins’ each). I’m confident if Irina was training kids in London, she would be fully booked far in advance. 100% - There is a buffet for kids from 1 month+ with different formulas, huge variety of steamed food, soups and even a great choice of vegan-only - Lumi’s (kids’) club; we couldn’t get our little one out there; it’s got a different well-packed program for each day for different ages, incl. robotics lab and soft play; face-painting can get quite in demand, so try to arrive early or after 3 pm - Pools; they can get busy but there are many of them and the one, next to SPA is like a secret spot, there was always a space - There are multiple private beaches, just for this resort and we enjoyed all of them, especially for little guests with a shallow water and (!) kid’s sun-beds; it is called Flamingo beach and there is also a very small playground which is basically a small simple wooden house but it’s got a lot of toys, perfect for building sand castles and playing with water and sand; all complementary while on the beach; ice-creams, fruits and towels are there for you as well free of charge - Waterparks; they were fun and we spent some time during different days but our little one preferred the beach - SPA: chocolate and bubble hammam with Swedish massage and a chocolate face mask. I mean. No comment. Again, couldn’t get our little one out. Tips: - They provide very nice amenities for kids (gel, body lotion, shampoo, slippers, etc), yet they may not be in your room; just call / message in the app your assistants and it will be in your room - Buffet breakfast is lovely outside - If you want swim lessons with Irina, we would recommend to book it as soon as you arrive (as we noticed she gets booked quite quickly and she’s not full days there) - Share as much time with your little ones there as possible (yes, not much rest for you); we could see kids with baby-sitters and nannies and they were not as happy as with their parents Key highlights (Grown-ups): - Buffet. I don’t think it should be called a buffet as the variety and quality takes it to another, much higher level than what you associate with a buffet. More than 5 different cuisines (sometimes 10+) incl. Japanese on some days. So, we ended up eating just there as they were offering different meals from different countries every day. Yes, there are main ones and you’ll see them every day but there is always something new, a lot, in addition to the main ones, three times every day. Very impressive as you don’t have to pay extra for so huge variety of really fresh high quality food - SPA. Suleyman is the man. Go straight to him as he doesn’t sell, he LISTENS and offers the solutions. Hammam is a must and if you like me, with a very stiff neck and back, 3-5+ deep tissue massages are another must. You won’t regret - A packed program of different activities, events. Back-to-back. Every day. We wanted just rest (when possible and not entertaining our little one). You can even try trapeze. Not joking. If you feel like you missed out on an opportunity to perform in a circus. By the way it’s also available to kids (5-7 y/o+) - Disco is every night. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room which would be further from the beach and/or earplugs - There are shops, hairdressing/barber, photo-shooting salon (£10 per selected photo, £0 for the actual photoshoot, they can follow you when- and wherever you want on the resort), trips/activities agency on site, so if you forgot something, you may buy it there; prices are quite reasonable in most of the shops - Coffee and Tea houses on the site which are like stand-alone stores but you can just pop in, choose from a menu and enjoy it all for free with a cake or an ice-cream Tips: - Not all the staff (especially in the buffet) understand English if full; just be patient and understanding; simply ask for those who speak (or use iPhone translate); they are all keen to help and will listen to you eagerly - Download the app, it will save you a lot of time and the comms’ are easier and faster - Even simple-room categories are very nice, although do request a quiet one in advance/when booking if you are a light sleeper (due to night ravings and some rooms are close to some noisy facilities) We want to say a BIG thank You to all the team, every single cleaner, every porter and kitchen helper. You made this holiday very special for us. A separate Special Thank You to: our room assistants, Berfin and Mehmet, Marina (from Sumy) at the reception, Irina (a pro’ swim trainer), all SPA workers, especially Suleyman and Iluh. Thank You all.

I think with a luxury resort review it’s important for the reader to know the writers expectation and previous experiences . We have stayed at Ikos, The Four Seasons and Siyam World. IKOs is very well known and in my option this hotel is easily on par with IKOs except there is more to do here . A beautiful resort where every detail has been paid to the aesthetics . The planting is amazing. Lots of restaurants to choose from and À la carte is included for lunch at most of them, and the food is great . The Mexican Tiny Bites was my favorite . Lots to do for the children and the water park is a huge selling point to the hotel. We are an active family so this resort was good for us One thing that I also think hugely stands out for this hotel is the patisserie area. Sometimes cakes and deserts fall into the trap in other resorts of looking great but not matching in taste and in my opinion the cakes here could compete with the hummingbird bakery etc . The coffee shop is also a very nice touch, and the coffee is much better than other luxury resorts we’ve been to. Evening entertainment needs a special mention . It’s by far the best entertainment we’ve had . The show is great but then there’s more entertainment at the beach bar which was my personal favorite area of the hotel. I’m a cigar smoker and they would come over with a really nice cigar ash tray for me when they saw me smoking . There have been some stand out members of staff. Overall the service has been quite good . There’s been a few little bits missed like a certain drink or a dish but not very often . Dining- Food has been really good but we’ve mainly eaten in the à la carte restaurants . The food in the buffet was really good but it felt quite noisy and a bit chaotic . There’s a lot of people in the buffet and so it’s a struggle for the staff to attend to you properly for how it should be in a luxury resort . In other resorts the buffet has felt calmer and the service more like it is in the à la cartes . Overall good points - lots of pools to swim in, no sun bed wars (very busy but always ones available but we’re in May half term). Evening entertainment is fantastic . Resort is beautiful . Nice touches with staff remembering what drink you like and bringing you another , bringing me a cigar ash tray, drinks on skates which was cool. Little beach next to the Greek restaurant was really nice . Huge cocktail selection and they will basically make you anything even if it’s not on the menu. Frozen beer glasses!!! Hardly any hotels do this! Some small points of attention. It would have been nicer if the pools were not so cold. They weren’t terrible but they were cold. We were told on arrival that the only place due to the time to get food was the pub. This wasn’t the case as Tiny Bites and I think also the Greek were open but we didn’t know this until after. (The pub btw is great if you’re into sports). I hate that the menus are only a QR code! No paper menus avaible if you ask. When we arrived at reception I think they forgot to offer us a drink and one of the cold towels . This is always a nice touch at a good resort when you arrive but we ended up getting up and going to the drinks cart ourself in the end . However others did get this . The drinks cart I thought was a really great idea in reception with the really nice chocolates . Thanks XO for a fantastic week and keep doing what you are doing. A huge amount of hard work and money has clearly gone into this hotel and it can be seen. We’ve loved our week here .

2nd visit to XO Cape Arnna bringing four friends for my 50th Birthday which was in Feb 2026. Still a fabulous hotel but on arrival had to ask for a welcome drink. I emailed a few wks before to ask for rooms away from Liberty Signa as noise was awful at night, we got room 3337 which was only two doors down from last time. We were in adult zone and last time could use à la carte every night now it’s only 2no if staying 7 nights! A few of them you now need to pay which is unreasonable in an ultra all inclusive. Last year when on the beach they brought round cold towels & ice creams they have stopped that now. The service in The Duchess was not great & a wine somelier didn’t even know what Rioja was & had trainers on with a suit! Service was lacking there & not all starters brought out at the same time. Glimpse bar & Ting Bites exceptional as always. Treatments in the spa are so expensive compaired to last year £150 for a massage! Same for jet ski hire. Nothing in our room until the last day even though stated two guests 50th celebrations & only reason got something as an assistant was asking us about our stay. No special treatment for returning guests. But the food is still fantastic, although not always the warmest. The rooms are fantastic & the most comfiest beds & great black out curtains. Most staff were exceptional, plenty of sun loungers/towels. Drinks fantastic & just a generally beautiful hotel. We will still return as we love it but just a shame some of the touches from or first visit are no longer which made it feel more ultra all inclusive especially for the cost of the holiday.
