XO Cape Arnna For context, my husband and I have been fortunate to have enjoyed worldwide travel and have stayed in many luxury 5* hotels. This trip to XO Cape Arnna in mid September was our 19th all inclusive holiday in Turkey. Recent visits to the Antalya, Dalaman and Bodrum regions have included stays at Regnum Carya, NG Phaselis Bay, Voyage Torba, The Residence Fethiye and Cullinan Belek. Since returning from XO Cape Arnna we also visited Anda Barut Collection in October. Elsewhere in Europe we have been privileged to enjoy multiple holidays at 6 Ikos resorts, also Crete (Stella Island), Rhodes (Mayia Exclusive), Balearics, Canaries, Portugal, Cyprus, Egypt, the UAE and various Caribbean destinations where we have stayed at Rixos, Barut, Voyage, Excellence Resorts, Secrets Resorts, Royalton, Jumeirah, Riu, Hyatt hotels. Our 7 night stay in an adult section, club swim up room was booked direct with the hotel. Spoiler alert: we have rebooked to stay at XO next year. Highlights … • The luxury furnishings and stylish design of the hotel have the wow factor and the spacious rooms are no exception. The quality of the fixtures and fittings is superior to many other hotels we have stayed in; the shower is fantastic, the towels are lovely and the bed is very comfortable. I also really appreciated having a dressing table and mirror in the room. Our friendly housekeeper, Belgin (I hope that’s correct) was excellent. In fact, the whole resort is beautiful and extremely clean and well-tended with beautiful, mature planting. • The panoramic, picturesque and heart-lifting views from the hotel buildings and grounds were a highlight of our stay. • The varied choice of restaurants for a la carte lunch was a huge win for us. • We greatly appreciated the adult only facilities, the varied choice of pool areas and luxury cushioned sun loungers. • We were lucky enough to book and really enjoy the beautiful setting, breathtaking views and food at 3 of the a la carte restaurants (Turkish, Asian, Fish) plus The Duchess during our stay. For the remaining 3 nights we ate in Seasons which, from a menu and cuisine perspective, was less impressive however it is an a la carte restaurant and included free of charge. I must echo other feedback regarding the unsatisfactory, substandard booking system for the a la carte restaurants and entreat management to find a better solution in order to improve the experience of securing a la carte reservations for guests next year. • If you are considering a trip to Fethiye market then we recommend the water taxi service from the beach. Other reflections … Gym: • The gym is, in our view, a little inadequate for the size of the hotel and certainly the very poor relation in comparison with the extensive gym facilities at Anda Barut and Regnum for example. The XO gym would benefit from more treadmills (there are only 3), bikes, cross trainers, maybe a stair machine etc which are always popular for cardio training. The weights machines and free weight area is slightly better equipped. Entertainment: • The seating area at the theatre is rather uninspiring and does not really have a luxury feel in comparison with other hotels. Anda Barut has a much more convivial and sophisticated tiered seating arrangement and many of the seats and tables in the bar also have great views of the stage. • The beach bar is a lovely, sociable venue for pre-dinner, post-show drinks but for next season please introduce more live bands (early and late evening), more parties and a varied DJ set. The entertainment at Liberty Signa sounded much livelier! In general, it would be great to have more live singers and bands at restaurants and bars other than Mucho Gusto, The Duchess and Goat (which we didn’t prioritise visiting as we are not football/sports fans). As an aside, a sports bar seems an odd venue for live music. A live band at the adult pool bar would have been welcome. Club swim up room: • The swim up club rooms do guarantee a location on the opposite side of the club block to Liberty Signa (and the dreaded generators that are located between the two hotels), but they really don’t get much sun on the patio so we would not book one again. Furthermore, the sun loungers opposite the swim up rooms (both the double beds on the water ledge and the single loungers behind) are not allocated to the swim up rooms so any adult guest can use them (as they can the swim up pool). When we stayed many of these beds were reserved by 7:15/7:30am. Restaurants: Why, oh why, are so many hotels now relying on QR codes and an App for guests to access menus at the a la carte restaurants? For me, taking time to peruse the pages of a printed menu and deciding what to order, whilst sipping a drink, discussing the menu and chatting with those dining with me, is part of the pleasure of dining in a restaurant. Viewing a restaurant menu via an App (some of which include pictures of each dish on the menu) does not equate to a 5* dining experience and reminds me instead of ordering from a fast-food outlet or from a child’s menu. Please bring back printed menus in keeping with the luxury, upscale 5* establishment (with corresponding price point) the hotel is aspiring to be, so that I can keep my phone in my bag and off the table. Regnum, Cullinan, Ikos, etc provide ‘real’ menus. Secondly, I apologise for raising a rather insignificant observation, however I wonder if consideration could be given to ‘upgrading’ the unfitting napkins at the restaurants from tiny paper tissues to linen napkins (or at least full size paper napkins). We rarely revisit the same hotel but we are looking forward to a return stay next year and hope to see more in the way of live music and DJ sessions around the adult areas and other bars during the afternoons and evenings. I’ll pack my own napkins haha!
Dear XO Cape Management, I am writing to formally complain about my recent stay at your hotel June 2025 Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with both the food and the service during my stay. The meals served at the hotel were of poor quality and did not meet the standard one would reasonably expect. In addition, the service provided by the staff was unsatisfactory. The staff appeared inattentive and unhelpful, and overall the level of professionalism was lacking. This significantly affected my overall experience and enjoyment of the stay. I chose your hotel expecting a much higher standard of hospitality, and therefore this experience was particularly disappointing. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and provide an appropriate resolution. I believe some form of compensation would be reasonable under the circumstances. I look forward to your response.
Visited the XO in October 2025 as a family of 4 (44,42,9.10). Previously visited the Liberty Fabay and Signa over the previous 3 years, therefore I was expecting very high standards specifically based on Fabay which was excellent. Compared to Signa which had clearly been rushed and had many issues (see my other reviews if needed). Therefore we were slightly apprehensive before we arrived with the XO also being new. However we need not have been. The finish and standard thoughout the hotel was amazing. We were also there with another family who had been at all three, who also have high expectations and neither of us could pick fault in this complex. Before I summarise big round of applause for the Trapeze team - Efe, Ali, Mathias!!! This facility and these men are the real star of the hotel. Many adults and kids spent hours here. My son is scared of heights and because of there teaching skills, friendlyness, professionalism they manage to not only get him up on the right but flying through the air! Guys if you are still there, keep up the good work. Staff - All friendly and attentive. Food - brilliant, especially the lunch at the beach bar. Beach areas - lovely Room - stunning Complex - amazing Bar/ice cream shop/ coffee shop- all tremendous, loved the attention to detail in the coffee shop. A la Carte - don't bother! Yes the food was lovely, but the service in the Asian and Turkish was terrible. Too many guests for the staff ratio and we would have enjoyed the main restaurant as much. The only thing I would suggest that could be a bonus to this place is a proper small sided football pitch. Many days kids were playing on the worn out grass beside the basketball court (beside main stage) or on the main grass beside the restaurant. The hotel has everything else so not sure why this has been overlooked, particularly when there was even a former football player doing coaching one week. Again another great example of the thought into this hotel. Summary - excellent hotel and if the standard remains the same for 2026 you won't be disappointed. Unfortunately as much as I would love to return the cost for 10 days in October 2026 compared to last year is 2.5 times more so we have unfortunately booked to go to another new hotel in Turkey.
Everything about our stay at XO Cape Arnna was just perfect. It’s a beautiful resort with a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and fantastic food throughout our stay. The attention to detail really stands out, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel looked after. The entertainment was absolutely out of this world and truly one of the highlights of the resort. Every evening felt well planned, professional, and enjoyable for both adults and children. Having previously stayed at their sister hotel, Livery Signa, the only areas where I feel XO Cape Arnna could improve are very minor and purely from a family perspective. Firstly, a lower outdoor children’s stage on the grass area for the mini disco would be a great addition. The current stage is very high, and with the number of children running around on it, it did feel like an accident waiting to happen. I witnessed several children almost fall off and many family’s we spoke with felt the same. Secondly, some lower chairs and tables in the stage / entertainment area would make it much more family-friendly. The existing seating of bar stools & high tables felt too high for my 2-year-old to sit safely, and low-height seating and tables would be far more suitable. Overall, these are small suggestions in what was otherwise a flawless stay. XO Cape Arnna is a truly lovely resort, and we would happily return.
The hotel is beautiful, spacious, and well-designed. Despite the fact that there's an adults-only area, I'd say this hotel is more for families with children. Two major cons: the air conditioning is centrally controlled (despite of the ability to adjust it in the room). It shuts off at night, which made it simply too warm and uncomfortable. The second thing is the food; it wasn't bad, but in my opinion, it gets too many positive reviews. Overall, it's okay to visit once, but it's not a hotel you'll want to return to.
