Best hotel in Side, amazing entertainment throughout the day and night. Food & drinks are great. 100% recommend 👍🏻🇹🇷

We had a Great holiday at the berry blue hotel. The hotel was nice and clean , and the cleaning lady was lovely ( 1401) The food was good and. Agreed for all types of nationalities, however I was a little disappointed at the breakfast , but that’s because I like my sausage and beans with my full English. The actual hotel is in a decent location as the sorgun town was only a 5 min walk away with shops and a few bars . The trip to side was easy enough as the bus stop was right outside the hotel and only 20mins to the old town . The staff were lovely , and I have to give a shout out to Ali, yusuf and davut. Also the 2 girls on the animation team were great , and of course Rudi who , from sorting the darts to hosting the Friday night Dj made the holiday a whole lot more enjoyable. Top guy👌 My only gripes were that there was little to do for the children . My kids are age 9 and 13 , and the activities are too old for them to take part in , so a few more activities to involve the kids would be better. Also the ice cream bar should be open more often. The short window to get one meant you had to cue. All in all , a great place to visit , and I would t hesitate to go back again .

Today marks the end of our stay at the Berry Blue Hotel, and I can confidently say that if you’re considering this as your holiday spot in Turkey, you won’t be disappointed. Hotel & Rooms: The hotel is the perfect size—not too big, so it never feels crowded, which we really appreciated. We arrived late at night and were initially given a room with a rooftop view that wasn’t ideal. The next morning, we asked if it was possible to switch, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Within a couple of hours, we were moved to a similarly lovely room with a much better view. A special thank you to Svetlana at reception—she was warm, professional, and made us feel very welcome. Rooms are modern, spacious, and each comes with a balcony. One thing to note: there are no irons provided, so be sure to bring one if you’ll need it. Check-out is at 12:00 PM, but late check-out is available for just €30 per hour, which we found quite reasonable. There are plenty of sunbeds by the pool, so no need to wake up early to reserve one—there’s always space available. Food & Drinks: We’ve stayed in several hotels, and were pleasantly surprised here. Despite some reviews claiming a lack of variety, we found the food offerings to be plentiful—and we’re fairly picky eaters! Themed nights like Kebab Night, Mexican Night, and Seafood Night added a great touch of variety. There are three bars—two poolside and one in the lobby—so drinks are always nearby. All drinks are served in proper glasses, which is a nice detail. There are no straws provided, so if you prefer them, just bring your own. The bartenders know their cocktails well, and if you speak English, you’ll have no trouble ordering. Beach: The beach is only a 3-minute walk, or you can hop on the complimentary buggy. It’s a mix of sand and stone, and there’s a beach bar serving snacks and drinks, which is super convenient. However, the sunbeds could use an upgrade—the paint is coming off, and it can transfer onto your skin. Evening Entertainment: This is one area that could use some improvement. Monday’s live band was excellent—a definite highlight—and the Pink Party with the DJ was a lot of fun. Beyond those, though, the rest of the evening entertainment felt a bit flat and repetitive. Some more variety or energy would really elevate the experience. Staff & Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Berry Blue is friendly and relaxed. You’ll likely hear a lot about Rudi in other reviews, and it’s all true—he’s a gem. As part of the entertainment team, he brings great energy without being pushy. He doesn’t ask for reviews—he’s just genuinely warm and makes everyone feel included. Would We Return? Absolutely—100%! Huge thanks to the team at Berry Blue for making our holiday so enjoyable and relaxing. We’ll definitely be coming back.

We've been in Berry in June 2023 and came back this June, 2025. I never write a reviews, but... this time I can't just pass. All the photos added to this post arw made in 2023. This time, in 2025 I even had no desire to took pictures. First I'd like to mention the communication of administration. Before arriving this year I have sent 3 e-mails (1st main, 2-nd forwarded once again, 3-rd from other e-mail address) and filled form on Berrie's webpage. I was asking about do they provide private tranfer, but I didn't get any answer. When we have arrived to the hotel we have noticed that some surrounding have been changed (not to a better one). The administrator have told us that hotel management have been changed and the concept of the hotel as well. In 2023 as we had our wedding anniversary (as well as this year) we had a surprise at arrival in our room - beautiful handmade cake-ice cream (in one) and wine, it was a great pleasure! Minibar in 2023 was filled (always) with non-alcoholic beverages + beer. In 2025 - no alcohol in the fridge (such a conception). In 2023 the cleanliness was great, in 2025 it wasn't at 100%, but staff is doing their best, as well as cleaning in room (but not adding cotton pads, soap). The buggy riding to the beach doesn't run that often as in 2023, in 2023 we even refused to ride, because the walkway to the beach was so green, so beautiful... you can see the views on photos. How is it possible to ruin so beautiful views, green grass, and why... I don't know. The food court on the beach in 2023 was super! It was like a restaurant. They had a menu with salads, pizza'a, fast food. The administrator of beach cafe accepted the order while we had an opportunity to order super well-made, beautiful and tasty coctails and drinks. The territory was so beautiful. The place before beach was like a lounge zone, nearby there was a super clean toilet (imperceptibly fitted into the environment), instagram places to take a pictures. Yes, it was forbidden to take food from beach bar to the beach, but the surrounding was such that we didn't even think about eating while lying on a deck chair, we just wanted to stay at the beach cafe and eat some very delicious food in a civilized manner, served by administrator or waitress on you table. Wet-wipes were on every table. In 2025 the menu is so poor, no vegetables, nothing. Just 4 choices of fast food, wrapped in paper, and you can take it. No coffee or tea on the beach (but there is white and brown sugar in every table, question is what for???) In 2023 we never been on lunch in main restaurant, because everything was on the beach! It was our favorite place. In 2023 if some of the drinks was finished at the bar, it was again available in maximum 10 minutes. In 2025 no one carred about it much, if it was finished, it's done with it. In 2025 the deck chair on the beach are poor, painted in green as well as tables, and the paint from the sun peels off and sticks to the body. Garbage is often collected, but drinking glasses are rarely collected. In 2023 the staff was always there... The operatinin hours of Merry & Berry dessert at lobby in 2023 was almost all ray long, offering the wide range on dessert and cold snacks. In 2025 - only 3 hours and the range is so poor... I think the desserts are just that being left after dinner or breakfast. At dinner time I've seen red fish only once (3 plates) and in about an hour it was finished and haven't added, and other time I've seen only leftovers on one plate (about 8 p.m.), and when I've asked will you bring more, the answer was no. All drinks during dinner is being order by ourselves at the bar and no one serves you at the table. In 2025 there are no a tablecloth and cloth napkins that can be placed on your lap. Such a minimum, but it counts... This was in 2023 and it made a sense of real restaurant. It's a pitty that we've been waiting for these vacation exactly at Berry, expecting the same service and surrounding, and we didn't get that. And there were no progress (you know, usually new or renewed places grows providing more and more), in 2025 there was a regress. Yes, there are some staff that really does their best: the bellboy Onur, the guys from Lobby bar, our housemaid Aygül. Unfortunately, our experience in 2025 wasn't good and we never come back. The new "conception" as they have called the changes of the hotel does not correspond the 5 star hotel level with ultra all inclusive concept. And it is not worth the price they are offering. If the new management continues to adhere to this "concept", nothing good will surely come of the hotel. P.S. I have deleted people from the pictures, so most of them are blurred in places of deletion, but the essence is clear. I inserted exactly those photos, which contain what was not left in 2025.

Within a couple of hours, we were moved to a room just as lovely, but with a much better view. A special thanks to Svetlana at reception – she was friendly, professional, and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are modern, spacious, and all come with balconies. Checkout is at 12:00 PM, but if you need a late checkout, it’s only €30 per hour – very reasonable. Food & Drinks: We’ve stayed at several hotels and, honestly, I’m surprised by reviews saying the food lacks variety. We found there was plenty to choose from – and we’re quite picky eaters! Themed nights like kebab night, Mexican night, and seafood night kept things interesting. The hotel has three bars – two by the pools and one in the lobby – so drinks are always within easy reach. All drinks are served in proper glasses (a nice touch), and while there are no straws, just bring your own if you prefer them. The bartenders know their cocktails well, and if you speak English, you’ll have no problem ordering. Beach: The beach is just a 3-minute walk away, or you can hop on a buggy if you prefer. It’s a mix of sand and stone, and there’s a beach bar serving snacks and drinks so you’re well taken care of. Night Entertainment: This is one area where there’s a bit of room for improvement. On Monday night, they had a fantastic live band performing a great variety of songs – definitely a highlight. The Pink Party with the DJ was also a lot of fun. However, apart from these, the rest of the evening entertainment was quite underwhelming and a bit boring. It would be great to see more variety or higher energy events in the future. Staff & Atmosphere: You’ll see a lot of mentions of Rudi in reviews – and for good reason! He’s part of the entertainment team and brings such positive energy to the place. He doesn’t ask for reviews – he’s just genuinely friendly and always around, making everyone feel welcome and involved. Would we come back? Absolutely – 100%.
