It was our first trip to Turkey. I had heard a lot about Turkish hospitality, but I never expected to discover such a wonderful country and meet such amazing people. High standards are visible from the moment you step inside, and the luggage service is very efficient. The hotel is stunning and beautifully decorated. Our room was very comfortable, with an elegant bathroom and a balcony. The night view from the balcony of the beautifully lit pools and the sea was spectacular. Both the AC and Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. The room was cleaned daily, towels were regularly changed, and the free minibar was replenished every day. Real hospitality can be felt here at every step – our cleaning lady even brought us fresh figs from her own garden after a short, pleasant conversation. It was such a warm gesture! Service and Staff: Service truly sets this hotel apart. Regarding the younger staff, it varied – some manage everything brilliantly, while others are still learning. However, the experienced restaurant team does a fantastic job – they are polite, efficient, and fast. The waiter, Latif Y., deserves special recognition as an absolute professional. Service in his section is exceptional thanks to his incredible energy and speed. He reads the dining room perfectly and anticipates every guest's need. Latif connects genuinely with people while maintaining flawless efficiency, always with a genuine smile. My son absolutely adored him because of his fantastic approach to children. Another waiter also took wonderful care of us, always bringing my son his favorite drink without being asked (unfortunately, I didn't catch his name). A young bartender working at the bar between the pool and the amphitheater was extremely attentive and cordial – he even taught me a few basic phrases in Turkish. When my son mentioned he didn't want anything more to drink, the bartender surprised him by making a delicious, personalized fruit smoothie off the menu. They truly build real relationships with guests here. Food and Gastronomy: The food was delicious, high-quality, and varied. A huge plus is the 24-hour à la carte restaurant. Arriving after midnight and being able to order fresh spaghetti was a wonderful convenience. Indoor bars serve premium drinks and excellent iced coffee. However, drinks at the outdoor bars were poor – the juices from dispensers were too sweet and artificial, whereas indoor bars used high-quality carton juices. Pools, Entertainment, and Beach: The pools are beautiful, clean, and interestingly designed. The sunbeds are comfortable, though finding a free one after breakfast is a challenge due to the "towel war". The aquapark and water playground for children are brilliant. The animation team and amphitheater shows are of a very high standard. The beach is sandy, but the entrance to the water is stony (pebbles), so water shoes are definitely recommended. Safety is a big plus with lifeguards on duty. While the permanent beach bar was not open yet, staff compensated by bringing drinks directly to the sunbeds, and there are fridges nearby stocked with water and ayran. Note to Future Guests: The behavior of some guests was shockingly distasteful. Lying with shoes on the brand-new, light-beige sofas, making a mess with food on them, or shoving decorative pillows between their legs is unacceptable. This is a common space – let's respect the hard work of the staff and show basic manners. Summary: Despite minor opening-phase issues, we had a fantastic time. Seaden De Mar Resort & Spa fully deserves 5 stars! However, it is worth keeping in mind that the hotel is located in a small town, so if you are keen on sightseeing, you will need to travel to larger cities. Warm regards to all the staff! M.P.

The hotel should have opened on 15th June. We booked a holiday monghs in advance from 21st June. Then the hotel postponed the opening to 21st June, so we rescheduled our holiday to 29th June. Then the hotel postponed the opening to 28th June. On 25th June the hotel confirmed in email and instagram messages that they will be open, pools and facilities fully operational. Although there was no water in the pools and they did not have the permissions. We were scheduled to leave on Monday morning. Late friday evening they notified the travel agency that they postponed the opening to 10 July. So all our plans for the holiday with a 3yo has to be rescheduled overnight. If they told in advance we had a chance to cancel and find a new hotel, change our work holidays, etc. This is very bad management of hundreds of customers.

I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice before booking. The hotel was supposed to open on June 21, and I received multiple confirmations from the hotel that the opening would take place as scheduled. Based on these assurances, I kept my reservation and planned my trip accordingly. Yesterday, only six days before my arrival, I decided to call the hotel myself one more time to verify that everything was on track. To my surprise, I was informed that the hotel would not be opening as promised. What is most disappointing is not only the delay itself, but the extremely poor communication. Guests were repeatedly assured that the hotel would open on time, only to find out at the last minute that this was not the case. Promises were made and not kept. I have also seen recent videos from the property, and based on what I observed, I personally find it very difficult to believe that the newly announced opening date of June 28 will be met. Of course, everyone can form their own opinion, but the current state of the property does not inspire confidence. If you currently have a reservation at this hotel, I would seriously consider rebooking with another hotel group rather than relying on further promises. Unfortunately, my experience so far has left me with very little trust in the information provided by the hotel management. A hotel opening delay can happen. Poor communication, lack of transparency, and last-minute surprises are much harder to accept.
