Vox Maris Resort Hotel

This is a lovely hotel well located for Side .Hotel is very very clean .Food nice and plentiful .Staff are very friendly and helpful making our stay very pleasant .Special mention to Osman at the Bakery and Ibrahim on reception .Restaurant staff excellent .We will definitely be back hopefully soon .Thank you Jim and Alison

Unfortunately, our stay at Vox Maris Resort was disappointing due to several service and organisation issues. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff greeted us without any warmth or basic friendliness, which set the tone for the stay. We also did not receive the complimentary wine or fruit on arrival that was included in our package. The overall staff attitude was poor. Many staff members were unfriendly, lacked common courtesy when walking past guests, and waiter service throughout the hotel was extremely weak. Drinks often didn’t arrive after being ordered, even when ordered directly from staff. One male staff member in the shop was particularly hot-headed and rude, and there were repeated attempts to push parrot photos on us despite us clearly saying no. Dining was another major let-down. Dinner was packed up outdoors around 25 minutes early, despite there still being plenty of food left, and no takeaway options were offered. Food variety was limited, and desserts were not labelled, which is especially concerning for guests with allergies. On one evening, we were not informed about a gala night until that same morning, and during dinner our starters were left on the table while mains were served. Even worse, they did not provide any vegetarian options, leaving us without dinner for the night. Although our package included a complimentary à la carte meal, we were unable to use it because it was fully booked. No alternative or compensation was offered, and staff made no effort to accommodate us in any other way. Overall, the hotel appears unwilling to invest in quality staff training or guest experience. While the resort itself has potential, the lack of professionalism, organisation, and basic hospitality made this stay far below expectations.

Hotel was lovely, spotlessly clean, very quiet. Staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us, especially the guy who drove the bus to the beach, he was extremely helpful and a font of local knowledge. Food was lovely, varied, the rice was amazing. Would certainly visit again.

Booked here 12 months ago after staying at the nearby Ali Bey resort in 2024 which was simply amazing !!! We’ve been coming to Turkey the last 3 years in October and we’ve always had an amazing time till now !!! Came here Thursday 23rd October 2025 and I’ve never been to a hotel in all my years of travelling that so unwelcoming & Anti English !! I’ve paid a lot of money to come here for a week especially as paid for a swim up room as a treat worst money I’ve ever spent … if your any nationality apart from British you’ll be fine. .. The cleaner to our room is lovely as are the staff in the hotel lobby bar .. been the pool bar at night and as soon as a young boy with longish dark hair here’s your English tells you to sit down and someone will serve you yet he serves everyone else !!! So we’ve had to wait for a waiter to come over & serve you .. Had treatments in the Spa the first day the woman on the desk there is really rude & obnoxious which is a shame as they lady that done my massage was lovely and amazing but due to the rudeness of the woman at reception I cancelled my other treatment. I’ve never been on a holiday where I can’t wait to go home & get back to work !!!!

I read reviews before I came but I always like to make my own mind up. However I’ve been here 4 nights and the negative reviews are true ! If you’re English DO NOT STAY HERE ! Staff are rude to the English , never felt so unwelcome !! I will be contacting EasyJet and the hotel direct with my concerns. Paid for a swim up room that you only get the sun to early afternoon in , food mediocre, pool freezing , drinks ok. Not enough sunbeds for the amount of guest. Large queues for food. Spa lovely . Staff in lobby bar nice and the odd waiter is ok but others really spoil it! If you’re French , Dutch or German you will be fine ! English go elsewhere! We asked for an extra duvet and waited 9 hours ! Even after downloading the App as advised !
