Food was poor, no tables ,no sunbeds. Entertainment team I found unprofessional! and only interacted with certain guests. Bar staff don't know how to make cocktails! Staff around hotel look unhappy and don't offer any help in anyway. This hotel is not a 5*

Very nice hotel with many pros and some cons. The food is amazing and has many different options, the pool is amazing aswell. Me and my man thought the entertainment was good. Different themes every night which we loved. The staff is super friendly. They have nights where they take the guests that wants to join to a nice club in Side. Hotel rooms are very modern and well cleaned and very quiet even though the music can be loud at the hotel. There is a shuttle bus that takes guests to the beach (about 700 m away) every 10 minutes. The cons is that the staff sometimes didn’t understand us because of the language barriers (we speak English), the beds were way too hard for us, the water in the faucet smelled really bad and the balconies are kind of small. There’s also not enough room to sit by the pool bar for the amount of guests that this hotel has. The air conditioning is only available at 23 degrees Celsius, would be nice if you could change the temperature. To sum it all up we had an amazing week at Vox Maris and will come back!

We came here with high expectations from the hotel description, I think it's best not too or you will be disappointed. This hotel is ideal for young people or people who enjoy drinking and partying, if you prefer a more relaxed and chill vibe I'd recommend looking elsewhere. This hotel does seem to cater for russian and German tourists with most members of staff able to speak those languages but very little English which can be hard to communicate at times. Id advise to book a pool facing room or you will be overlooking a derelict building site or a main road, Infront of and around the hotel smells of raw sewage which does sometimes come up through the pipes in the bathroom - I can assume this smell travels into the rooms facing the outside of the hotel. The hotel seemed to have more guests than it was capable of accommodating - most days the pool and beach loungers were full, causing us to spend a lot of time trying to find somewhere instead of relaxing - it's also important to note that they don't have any space to add any more sun loungers because there's limited pool side space - they have to put them away each evening and set up extra dining tables and chairs because they can't accommodate everyone in the restaurant. The same with the pool bar, in the evenings people had to sit on the remaining sun loungers because there was no where to sit to enjoy the entertainment. As for the entertainment there was no signposting - we didn't even realise there was a club in the hotel until the last night, the main entertainment was very juvenile and childish for an adults only hotel, they sometimes made jokes that were verging on being rude. The variety of food is poor, if you're a picky eater you will struggle to eat. The food stop and beach bar were by far the best food venues, they had a good selection of comfort foods that everyone can enjoy, not just those with a more developed pallet. The rooms themselves look gorgeous, however the fixtures in the bathroom weren't screwed on correctly so the towel railing and hook on the bathroom door constantly fell off. There was no storage space, we just had to keep most of our clothes in the suit case. There was no iron. There is only one English TV channel out of the 90+ available. The swim up rooms seemed to be in a noisy area with little privacy, people also used the sun loungers around the pool instead of the swim up room so there was even less sunbeds around the pool side. The housekeeper was so lovely. She was cleaning for us in room 1248. She was the only member of staff who always had a big smile on her face and despite having the least English skills, she made us feel the most welcomed and like we were staying at a five star hotel - she really did make us feel like a guest whereas most of the other staf members made us feel like an inconvenience. The beach is close enough to walk too if you're fit and healthy around 10-20 mins however if you have mobility issues you would need to get the free shuttle bus as it is a bit of a rough terrain. It is in walking distance of side, side bazaar and a 10 minute taxi ride from Manavgat bazaar which costs €15 each way. In summary - this misses the mark of a five star hotel. Overall if you're just looking to get wasted, party and have pool foam parties this is your place! If you're looking for something a bit more refined and a peaceful atmosphere, you'll find it too crowded, busy and very in your face with no areas to escape the chaos - there are no quiet areas in this hotel.
